Memories

I was walking in the garden, when I noticed it was a full moon night.
Moon was looking beautiful in dark night sky.
I sat on the bench in the garden while remembering old childhood memories of my brother and me.
He always protected, take care of me.
We used to play in this garden while we were little.
Then a incident of our childhood flashed towards my eyes making me chuckle.

Yuki's Brother POV

"Yuki where are you, please come out or I will eat all your favourite cookies"
This would definitely make her come out from her hiding spot.

There was no response.
Maybe she didn't hear me or is she pretending that she not heard.
"This girl has really became smart"
I mumbled.

I think I should try my next trick on her.
I take a deep breadth and shouted on top of my lungs.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaah there is an Arbok in the palace garden."
Then I see some movements behind the bushes.

Then small Yuki comes out from her hiding spot running towards me.
She quickly hugged me.
I took her in my embrace and patted her head with my hands gently.

"I won now, you have to do as I wish for whole day." I said with a smirk

She looked confused first. Then she realised that she was tricked by her brother again.

She pouted and said " you knew I am scared of few bug Pokemon, you did it on purpose, don't you.

"You were the one who who fall for my trick, I didn't forced you"
I said

"You did cheating!" she said and then started hitting me with her hands with playful manner.

I then started running around the garden while she was chasing behind me with an angre pouted expression.

After running for a while I sat under a tree and lean my back on the bark of the tree.

Then she joined me. She sat and placed her head on my lap.
I gently rub her head.

And I can clearly see that see still had a pout on her face.

I am sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, though I wanted to win the game. And by the way that was your idea that who will lose the game has to obey winner for whole day didn't you" I said

"I just wanted you to play with me, since you were very busy with your work that I thought you forget me.
We used to play everyday, but now I hardly see you. I miss the time when we used to play whole day." She said with a sadness in her voice.

Before I could say anything a Pikachu popped from bushed in front of us. Yuki loves cute Pokemon so she ran towards the Pikachu and took it in her arms.
"Be careful or he might give you shock." I said worriedly
She give me an assuring smile and said "don't worry brother did you forget my natural charm, he won't hurt me." She said while patting Pikachu's head.
Pikachu was enjoying in her hands.

How could I forget her natural charm that makes Pokemon attracted to her.
We use our charm when we are in trouble but we have to activate it, it take most of our energy, but in her case she was born with her natural charm.

Most of the people say that it was blessing but she thought that it was like a curse to her.
Whenever I asked her why she called it her cursed the answer was same "if no Pokemon would fight with me how will I become an Pokemon master.
They all fall for my charm even if I don't want them to.
She always wanted to become a Pokemon master.
But because of her charm she held herself back.
She thought it would be cheating if she charmed the Pokemon to become a Pokemon master.
Because of her charm we have to keep her in the palace surrounding with high wall.
She didn't went out of the palace so she didn't have any friends.
She just sits in her room reading about outside world.
I was the only one who with she used to play but now I don't get any time to play with her.
I wish time would stop here and we will play as we used to play.
But if she wants she can do any thing with her powers but she couldn't control it.
I want to help her see outside world that she used to read.
I want to help every possible way I could to make her happy and she should keep smiling like this in future.

I snapped out of my thought when I hear Yuki calling my name "brother" I looked as she waved her hands happily towards me from a distance.
I waved my hands back at her as she continued to play with the Pikachu.

Yuki's POV

I saw my brother was deep in thoughts so I just waved my hand and he waved his hands happily towards me.
After seeing his smile I was so happy.
After a long time he played with me.
I missed his smile a lot.
I wish he keep smiling like that and spend some time with me.
After that I continued to play with the Pikachu.

Afterwards more Pikachu came then the one I was playing with went towards them I waved my good bye to the Pikachu and went towards my brother.

I sat beside him. Suddenly he lay his head on my lap. Then I played with his hair making different hairstyles and all. His eyes were closed while I was playing with his hairs.
I thought he was sleeping so I stopped playing with his hair and silently stared at the garden. Then suddenly my brother grab my hands and said "why did you stop playing with my hairs, i was enjoying it. It was relaxing while you were gently stroking my hairs."
" I thought you were sleeping so I didn't wanted to disturb you, you were looking very peaceful" I said

He then points towards in front of us.
I looked towards the direction he was pointing.
I saw a beautiful sunset.

He then got up from my lap and kissed my forehead and said "if you ever feel lonely just remember I will be always by your side. No matter where we are or how far we are. Just don't lose hope and keep smiling."
With that we admired the setting sun as we hold hands.

I sat on the same spot while I was admiring the moon.

I recall ever word he said to me on that day, the feeling of his hands wrapping mine, the warmth of his hand I still feel it as if he was still beside me.
While I was admiring the moon something wet fell on my hands.
I thought it was raining but when I glanced at the sky it was clear then I realised that tears were coming from my eye and runing down my cheeks.
I remembered what brother told me.
He said he would be their with me and he also said that I should keep smiling.

I quickly wiped my tears with my hand and stood from my place and thought to myself that I would keep smiling no matter what happens to me. I will just follow my brother.
Wherever he would be he should be proud on me.

With that I walked towards my room and sleep in my bed.
When I closed my eyes I saw my brother in front of me smiling at me.
With a smile on my face I sleep while thinking of my brother and our time together.
