Chapter One

The Baskins family is renowned nobility with the ability to plan, maneuver, and manipulate everything in their interests. The tyrant of the business world they say— a ruthless business corporation operates for their own. The working quality and aspect of the life of their workers are worse than rats because of many allegations, bribery, and corruption happening at a high level. The working class still did not have anything they promised. Carlton Baskins the eldest and the one who operates in the shadow, master of dishonesty and brutality wished to sell the company and merge with his own business and drive his career to a successful businessman in the continent and leave the rotten firm that his family builds for ages.

"The weather is good, isn't it?"

A huge man says with a monotonous voice. He is Alfred Balthazar the rival of Baskins Group of Companies. He owned the Balthazar Prime Corporation through hardships and blood he never uses any malicious move against his opponents he works lawfully. When he's just starting he knew the schemes of Baskins and hated them for tormenting and let their employees being corporate slaves. Now someone said that Carlton wants to sell the B.G.C and he will build another company for his own and not a family business B.G.C was their biggest rival in terms of logistics and management and technology moreover Balthazar's specialized in hardware production lines and not a software development firm.

"Hello, Mr. Balthazar I'm glad you arrived safely here take your sit sire."

"We will discuss the price and disclosure of properties of the company as well the reorganization plan."

"Carlton, are sure about this? This isn't a joke" Alfred questions Carlton full of seriousness. "I already had the support of my family and they approved about changing the industry and explore more about the business sire," Carlton responded with assurance.

They talked until 3:00 P.M and formally signed an acquisition document stated that B.G.C and all of its subsidiaries will be integrated into Balthazar Prime Corporation and will be rebranded as Balthazar Prime Incorporated. Many economists and business enthusiasts were shocked by this announcement. The acquisition and merging of two computer-based corporations made a huge blow for many investors and shareholders of B.G.C or now Balthazar Prime Incorporated. The head of directors is not aware of this judgment by the company as well the shareholders. The corrupt members, managers, heads of B.G.C was fired in one blow much evidence verifies that they are using the company's asset and falsifying many transactions. This move gives dominance to the new owner of the B.G.C and its stocks plummeted from $500 million US dollars to $347 million US dollars.

Many business figures stood and expressed their feelings about this, integrating the two giants in the Computer-based enterprise made medium-sized firms intensify competition in this field. Someone from social media posted about the ill-treatment of B.G.C to its employee's many office workers is relieved that Balthazar buys the company. Balthazar was known for being gentle to their employees and comrades unlike Baskins their influence and effect on their laborers are opposed to them.

After the acquisition, the whole company turned upside down while reorganizing the corporate structure as well as the HRM is busy recruiting new employees and promotions of the various managers. The executive of the company also faces the reorganization plan, many of them hate this proposal because their interests will be affected.

Balthazar Prime Inc. already announced their integration of B.G.C, Wall Street Journal also says that this big blow acquisition affected the stock market as well many companies in the field.

In the darkroom,

Felix Viego assistant director of the former B.G.C known for being a slacker but in terms of performance, he stands among his peers. Many believe that being an assistant director is an admirable price, but no, it is a gate of hell, gathered demons ready to invade the people's souls. He knew everything about the B.G.C even its darkest secret.

Rewind:

On the 2nd of January 1997, before the sunset, news broke out about Janes Andelle being murdered and raped. But the true story behind Janes's death is about the B.G.C after she analyzes the past and current transactions of the company as well company's asset is being used to a weird venture and weird partnership from various unknown companies or non-existent asset counted in annual finance every year.

Yet everyone in her department turns a blind eye to this issue instead they criticized Janes for her performance and professionalism. The heads of the company heard this and they planned to shut her mouth. But for some reason, she was murdered. They keep arguing about this incident, they only planned to know her role they never planned to kill Janes.

The heads and high executives kept this secret and did not let anyone knew about this. For some instance, Felix heard this while working in finance that night he overtime and completed every task and needed to audit.

Now that the company was bought and the heads will be replaced as well the investigation about the corruption in the former company. He will never be surprised if this issue was bought out. That night he wrote an e-mail to the secretary of Balthazar about Janes case as well as the verified evidence that directly stated that the former head directors and executive officials are the masterminds. This issue makes the whole corporation shook, and the trust of the majority of customers plummeted, and everyone accused Baskins of being a dirty company and businessman.

Because of this the B.G.C transform and reorganized based on the company's decision-maker as well Balthazar to bring back the trust of people they need to show how they changed the company. Meanwhile, in the Baskins' mansion gunshots were heard the Baskins couples were found dead in their own house. Many speculate that their son killed and snatch the remaining wealth of his parents.
