Chapter 6

Luis' P.O.V

I just can't believe it. Is Josh serious, grabe pagkatapos niyang agawin si Tanya saakin. Kung makipag-usap siya parang wala siyang ginawa saakin. I'm Luis, Cass' childhood friend. Well, everything was okay since we were 3, walang panira hanggang sa nag 5 years old kami, nabakantehan ang katabing bahay nina Cass' and a boy named Josh lived there since then. I was out of place since then, madalang nalang kaming maglaro ni Cass because there was Josh who keeps on being the star instead of me. One time while we are playing, A boy called Cass' name across the road.

*Flashback*

"Cass! Cass!" Sigaw ni Josh trying to show her a toy robot and a barbie doll.

Nagmamadaling umalis si Cass patungo kay Josh, sabay ng pagbagsak niya sa buhangin at dahon na pinaglalaruan namin kunyare lutu-lutuan.

"Josh! Patingin naman yang laruan mo." Sabi ni Cass habang tumatakbo trying to cross the road.

I tried to follow her but I was too late. Their was a loud honk of horns All i can see is black and I can't hear anything but only the beeping sound inaide my ears. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Cass lying on the road with lots of blood around her. I saw myself and Josh petrified and stucked at our place. I saw a cut on her shoulders it was a slash. I just cried, saddened by what happened. Pumunta ako sa bahay nina Cass and told them what happened. Her mother was crying, they were furious. Dali-dali silang umalis and itinakbo si Cass in a nearby hospital. That night I just can't sleep, even though sinabi na ng parents ko na okay ni si Cass. I felt so tired that I fell asleep. And the next thing I knew was lumipat sina Josh ng bahay because there was a family dispute between his family and Cass' family.

*End of Flashback*

Yun, doon nagsimula ang lahat kung bakit ako galit kay Josh. He was the root of all. But I can't seem to imagine that he just acts like nothing happened. Oh well, I just wish hindi siya nag-tatangatangahan, and mas okay pa kung nakalimutan niya 'yon dahil bata pa kami noon.
