Momo's hands fizzed with blue and pink particles, steel poles materializing from them. They hit the ground hard and propelled herself over the building. Her body parallel to the ground, her skin buzzed as she used her quirk. The metal and fabric formed from blue and pink coming together in the shape of a glider. Momo stopped the creation process there.
She had learned new things about her quirk in these past weeks, one of them being that her creations only fell away from her skin once they were complete on all sides.
She held ken as she glided toward her target. Her aura was a shaded ruby red, but her body was still aglow with it's power. She swooped down the block like a falcon toward her opponent, one of the fifty point bots from the entrance exams. At least according to the word of her classmates.
Despite the rushing wind in her ears, Momo heard heavy footfalls on the concrete. Yosetsu Awase was charging forward, ren powering each step, he was running about as fast as Iida at full burn.
"What a mad lad."
Yosetsu closed the distance in seconds. He ducked the bot's arm swing and spun, throwing his entire body into the strike his right hand blurred as he struck.
A sharp crunch sounded as the machine was launched into the air. The metal frame rattled as the heap of metal came crashing down.
"Whoa, Yosetsu, leave some for the rest of us." Momo said, touching down near him, the glider falling away.
"Says the woman who shot down ten bots with her friggin QUAD-LAUNCHER!!"
Momo giggled.
"I just use what I've got."
"And you create the rest?" Yosetsu asked.
"Precisely." She smirked, adjusting the strap of her sports bra.
The two held eye contact for a few seconds. Yosetsu's cheeks were red and he turned away.
"Are you okay?" Momo asked.
"Yeah."
"You look flushed."
"I'm fine." His face grew redder.
"Well, make sure to get some water when our round is over." Momo said, breaking into a sprint.
Yosetsu looked after her in her usual sports bra and leggings. She had stopped wearing a shirt or jacket while training.
"Yep." Yosetsu muttered.
"Feelin' real thirsty right about now."
The round was an eternity, Izuku sure knew how to push their limits. Yosetsu had the strongest ren of all the knights, but he also had the weakest ten. Endurance matches were his weakness. He wheezed, plopping down to the concrete.
"Good job, everyone." Izuku said walking up to them.
"We'll go over everything in a little while, but we've got some new instructors to greet."
Izuku jabbed his pointer finger to the sky. The group nodded casting ren, then gyo to their feet. With a burst of power, the group leapt into the air. Cresting the target building, they all switched to ken and landed hard on the roof, amidst a group of people. Most were familiar, some weren't.
"Hello everyone." a lanky man with glasses greeted them.
"Good morning."
The knights bowed.
