     ELLIE SPOELSTRA had been exposed to basketball her whole life. Since her mother died when she was young, she often found herself sitting alongside her father on the sidelines on days that she didn't have a babysitter. Erik taught her everything she knows about the game, as he was— and still is— one of the most well-respected coaches in the league.

     ASPIRING PHYSICAL therapist, ELLIE is entering her senior year of high-school with big aspirations and lots of excitement. She's prepared for one the most academically tough years of her life and already has her post-secondary education planned (she's applied for Clemson, to be with her boyfriend— who's already there on a football scholarship). Among other things, Ellie believes that nothing will go wrong. All she can hope is for her final year to be enjoyable.

     HOWEVER, A TRIP to Summer league in Las Vegas allows her to meet Orlando Magic draftee, JALEN SUGGS, through mutual friends. However, he is dismayed to find out that she was already taken, and that Elaine is the daughter of Erik Spoelstra, the coach of their Floridian rival.

     AS THE TWO start to become more acquainted, their efforts to fight their attraction to each other grow faulty. Ellie realizes that sometimes, it can only take one boy for her to make bad decisions.

I wanted the theme of this book to be brighter, hence the filter, since it's set in miami and vegas and the mcs are young. It's supposed to be a fun little fling type of story and I'm super excited!!!
