When We Meet Again

Chapter 1

When Gia was just a baby vamp she had what some would constitute a short-lived relationship with the original Elijah Mikaelson. During that time she learned some life-changing news that resulted in her faking her death with the help of a woman well known for staying one step ahead of the original family. The Mikaelsons too busy trying to fight off new threats and keep their family together one way or the other have remained blissfully unaware of Gia's still alive state. Gia and the elusive Katherine Pierce have remained under the radar and living somewhat peacefully and safely in a beautiful estate in England.

Gia POV:

" I personally think it's a horrible idea, " Katherine says as she hands me a mug from the cabinet. Taking the mug I go to the fridge to get my morning cup of blood the girls are away at an art and music summer program which means it's just me and Kat alone in our huge safe house. And maybe all this alone time has had me thinking about something I probably should just leave alone. Either way, I reply with what has been on my mind for the past days " You said yourself a few days ago that Elijah has no memory of who he is. I just think that if I go and help him adjust to this crappy situation he finds himself in. It will not only help make sure that no unnecessary attention is drawn to the originals and those related to them but also help us figure out more about what the hell the hollow is and how to stop it. So maybe you know our children can meet their fathers' one day in the future."

Katherine just looks down at her own mug and after a while of processing all, I said. She mutters "Having a blood sample of whatever dark thing is in the original siblings could be useful." "See you know I am right." "Now I did not say that. I think you also have to acknowledge your ulterior motives."What motives!"I say a little too loudly. "You know damn well what I am talking about seeing Elijah again without the pressure of him knowing who you are. It's a risk being in the same room as him there is a reason you faked your death all those years ago. "She is right I would never put the people I love in danger. But right now we are in a state of peace and there is no direct danger following us. " Kat you can't tell me if Klaus lost all his memories you wouldn't want to have a face-to-face meeting." "Can't say I want to see his face ever again." " Liar!" I say interrupting her train of thought. She rolls her eyes and continues ignoring what I said. " That being said you helping Elijah with his newbie like blood control issues can prepare us for the day we actually have to face the Mikaelsons with memories and all the drama. Plus its not like you are going to spill anything important."

"So it's decided I am going to find Elijah" I state taking a drink from my now filled mug. Kat nods. Taking my hand " Any sign of trouble and you run "

"And don't look back" I add to her statement. She lifts her hand from mine and drops her empty mug in the sink.

Katherine then abruptly looks me in the eyes and proclaims " I have to pack for you! Because memories or not Elijah needs to see that you have only gotten hotter over time."

"Oh no, I can already see all the tight dresses and leather pants you want to put in my suitcase."

"Shut up, You are going to look amazing the whole time and love every minute of it." She leaves, walking in the direction of my room presumably to start packing. I am left alone in my kitchen wondering what it will be like to see again a man that has made me feel many strong mixed emotions. Ones that even I don't like to assign names to. Maybe it will be easier to see his face when he doesn't recognize mine.

I guess the only way to know is by meeting the noble Elijah Mikaelson again.
