"Weren't you supposed to meet James today?" asked Oriana.

"Yes, I'm leaving right now," Victoria said sternly.

"Oh, well have a good time," Oriana told her.

Then she left the house.

{What now......I'll take a walk around town it's gloomy and the sun won't come out until tomorrow.} Oriana thought.

{Who is that....they....-}

There was a gust of wind and the girl's scent went right towards Oriana.

{Keep walking just keep walking.....} Oriana thought looking down.

"What'd you do while I was out?" Victoria asked.

"Not much, just enjoyed myself," she replied.

"How do you feel about hunting with with James, Laurent, and me?" Victoria asked her.

"Sure," she replied.

"Alright c'mon," she said.

"What, like right now?" Oriana asked.

"Yea, what other time did you think I meant?" Victoria replied.

"Not sure, but I thought like tomorrow or-"

"C'mon they're waiting"

"Oh, alright then," Oriana slightly chuckled.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Ahhhh you did bring her," James said. "Victoria said you weren't the...human..type."
"Heh...yea"
"Non sense you just haven't found the right one yet. Don't worry we'll find one for you." James assured her.
Oriana wasn't quite convinced.
"C'mon let's get going," Laurent said.
Suddenly about half way into their hunting a whiff hit the air. It was slight like there was barely anything to it, but enough to make them head towards that direction.
Oriana notices a family of vampires playing a game of baseball. One of them has almost hit the base but was called out before they could hit it. The next one came up. He looked as if he was the father of all of the people in the back and the girl near him that wasn't playing but telling them if the person was out or not was the mother. He hit the ball quite far. After he was done the next one came up. He did a few cool tricks with the bat then hit the ball really far. The girl that was pitching was astonishing. Her pitches never seemed to fail.
"Looks like a game is happening..." Victoria pointed out.
They walked toward the field as the pitcher told everyone to, "stop."
"I believe this belongs to you." Laurent said while holding their baseball.
He then threw the ball to the father of the other vampires.
"Thank you," he said while catching it.
"I am Laurent, and this is Victoria, James, and Oriana."
"I am Carlisle, and this is my family."
"I am afraid your...hunting activities......have caused something of a mess for us."
"Our apologies, we didn't realize this territory had been claimed..." Laurent told him.
"Yes well, we maintain a permanent residence near by."
"Really," Laurent said chuckling. "Well we won't be a problem anymore. We were just passing through."
"The humans were tracking us, but we led them east," Victoria said.
"You what-" Oriana tried to say until Victoria nudged her arm to give her a signal not to talk.
"So you should be safe," Victoria continued.
"Excellent," Carlisle said.
"So, could you use 4 more players?" Laurent asked.
The family looked at each other
"Oh c'mon...just one game," Laurent insisted.
"Ehm, sure why not," Carlisle resumed.
"A few of us were leaving, you can take their place Carlisle told us. "We'll bat first," he also said.
"I'm one with the wicked curveball," Victoria smirked.
"Oh well I think we can handle that," one of the boys in Carlisle's family had said.
"Oooooooo," Laurent laughed.
"We'll see," Victoria said amused.
I noticed James was constantly staring at the girl from earlier. He didn't seem to take his eyes off her
Finally James turned around but not for long.
Suddenly a gust of wind blew by sending the girl's scent so everyone could get a whiff, including me.
"You brought a snack," James said turning his body towards the human girl.
"A human?" Laurent said surprised.
"She's with us," Carlisle informed him. "I think it's best if you leave."
James was giving the girl a death stare the whole time.
"I can see the game is over...we'll go now," Laurent told them.
"James...." Laurent called his name.
I was looking at the family one more time just so I know what all of their faces look like, if I ever see them again.
We all turned around and started walking towards the forest. James put his nose into Victoria's hair so he wouldn't smell the human anymore.
"Get Bella out of here, go" I overheard Carlisle say.
{So her name is Bella, it suits her.} I took another glimpse at everyone to notice Bella was getting in the car with one of the vampires.
Let me know what you think, what you want to happen (I'll keep it in mind) and any errors I might have made
