Chapter four: The disappearance

Ally's POV

It was around 2pm when father alerted his friends at the Denford Metrocity Police about Maggie's disappearance,  we have to open an Official missing person's file after 24 hours but they said they will be on the look out for her meanwhile

I spent most of the day in my room, alternating between sleep and crying.  I felt bad, I felt worse than horrible.  Wherever she is I knew she's scared,I hated my self for leaving her by her self. Everytime I heared footsteps outside my room I'd hope and pray it's her but nothing.

I woke up from my slumber and checked the time,8:02 pm. It's been 24 hours now and we can officially have police dispatch a missing person search. The house was rather dark, dad must have gone to the police station. I was about to leave my room when I heard a light tap on the window. I quickly opened the curtain to Nathaniel waving for me. After putting on my shoes I ran outside the front door to meet him

I haven't seen him in 4 days , I don't even have his number for me to communicate with him when he's not around. Running to him and wrapping myself in his arms I started crying all over again

"Maggie is missing " I said in between sobs.
"Since when?" He asked
"Last night,  I left her at Rollet and she never came back home"
"Dammit Ally! " he yelled shoving me away from him. As cold as he was I felt even colder when he pushed me away
"Did I not tell you never to go back there" he said in frustration brushing his hair back .

I was both in shock and upset,  this is the first time since I've met him 2 weeks ago he showed any emotion.  Everytime he would come to see me. We would sit in silence for an hour or so before leaving.
I found it weird but yet comforting knowing I don't have to try hard to make an impression,  he simply just seemed to like being around me .

"I'm so..sorry " I said hiccupping,  why was I even apologizing. He walked across the street to his mustang with me following him. He turned around and spoke
"Just hope I find her alive "
I felt shivers in my spine . I tried my hardest all day to not even think about the possibility that she could be dead.

"She is, i know " I mostly whispered to my self .
Nathaniel got into his car and started the engine . He turned to look back at me one more time before driving off.

For some reason I was glad I told him. I had this feeling that if anyone was to find and help Maggie it was him.

Nathaniel's POV

I have warned Ally not to ever go back to the club knowing its a food picking ground for rogue vampires. Humans are so gullible. They don't even realize how many people have gone missing or found dead after going to the club.

I have been very occupied the past few days ,after meeting Marley. She had begged me to not send her away and show her the ropes so she can survive. I took pity on her fragile self.she shows great promise  . Her power is the same as mine in terms of Telepathy .even though I have more abilities than her I decided to keep her as my protégé.

Entering the club.i went to the bartender Joe , without saying anything I sent him a mental picture of Maggie with my mind
" did you see her last night?" I said sternly

"No. I kind of started my shift late. But José was here. I'm sure he can tell you"

I walked back to the door where José was letting patrons in. He worked as the bouncer of the club

" she was here alright "
He said after I questioned him
I quickly searched his mind to see her .
She left with a another girl and a man with blonde hair. Both human for sure

I walked back to my car after talking to José. I connected with Marley to let Don know where I am to come at once. Within 2 minutes they appeared right in front of me thanks to Don's teleporting ability.
