[Zhongli's POV]
I woke up the next morning feeling the ginger softly breathe on my chest as he was fast asleep. I thought it was a dream at first to have him this close to me. I restrained myself from moving so I don't disrupt the man below me. I admired his face and how his hair would shine in the sunlight, he was everything to me I hope to never lose him again.  After a few minutes have passed Childe slowly opened his eyes and looked up at me. I smiled and said, "Good morning dear." He has a small smile on his face as he rested his head into my neck. I held him by the waist holding him there with me. I knew he was in love with Lissandra, I didn't want to accept it since for a long time I have loved Childe. But he found someone yet was broken hearted from it. I knew I had to be there for him no matter what happens. I could hear gentle whimpers and I felt the cold tears fall onto my neck. I patted Childe's back hoping he would calm down. Then he looked up at me with the look of the pain he was in. It hurt my heart to see him like this but things happen in life for a reason.  A few hours had passed and I knew Hu Tao would be worried about where I'm at since I still do have work. But I needed to spend this time with Childe. A few hours have passed and I decided to get up and make Childe and I some food to eat.  As I was trying to get up the ginger below me refused to let me go. I sighed as I picked him up taking him to the living room. "Xiansheng.. I wanted to stay in the room." I looked over to Childe, "You need to eat something. I'll let you go back laying down once you eat." He let out a grunt as I set him down. I opened the fridge and looked to see what I can cook. "Ajax, what would you like to eat?" He looked over at me. "I don't know.  Anything is fine I guess." I nodded as I got out a few ingredients. I set everything down on the counter. After a little bit I finished the food and set it down in front of Childe. He picked at the food a bit then finally ate. Once he was done I took the dish to go clean it. "Thank you xiansheng." I walked back over to him and patted him on the head. I needed to go out for a few things today so I decided to ask Childe if he would like to join me. "Childe I have to run a few errands today, would you like to join me?" He nodded and stood up as he went to go change in the bathroom into his normal fatui uniform that you would see everyday. As for myself I changed into my normal black suit I normally wear. Once we were both done changing it was time to go. We walked around Liyue going from shop to shop picking out things. We continued to walk around the harbor hearing the chatter of people all down the streets. I looked over to Childe to see him completely worn out. "I'm sure after the night he had he doesn't feel the best at all." I looked over to Childe pulling him closer to me patting his back. We kept walking around until Childe supposedly spotted Lissandra. I saw the shock in his eyes as he turned around to me grabbing my arm and pulling us away from the groups of people. We sat down somewhere and just enjoyed the scenery around us. Childe rested his head on my shoulder as I wrapped my arm around him. "I feel sick." I heard Childe mumble. "Just sick to the stomach from being around so many people or sick because you saw her." I questioned. "It was because of her. I feel sick from seeing her." I patted his back. "Childe I know how much pain you're in. But please you have to move on fast or you'll just be stuck in the same spot, and then every time you see her it'll lead to you feeling sick every time. I know it isn't easy but you have to try." I didn't want to see him this way, it hurt me too. "That was my first ever relationship and the first time I felt loved by someone who isn't my sibling. I don't exactly know how I can move on so quickly." I understood what he meant since his parents weren't the best to him. I wanted to make him feel loved in anyway possible, but I didn't know if he would ever feel the same back. I'm sure right now he doesn't but who knows if he ever will. It stung my heart a bit but I had to ignore it, for the sake of both of us.
[Childe's POV]
It's been a few months ever since I last saw Lissandra and ever since the day she cheated I ended up staying with Zhongli more. Even though he had lied to me, I still wanted to spend my time around him. He was always so comforting and gave some good advice for me, I couldn't turn down the offer for when he wanted to do something together. "Childe, are you alright? You seem kind of spaced out." I looked over to Zhongli. "Oh sorry I was just thinking about something." He nodded in return. It felt weird sometimes, I have this feeling in my heart that only happens when i'm around Zhongli. I don't know what it is but my time with him is something I cherish the most. I laid down in the bed, yes Zhongli and I share a bed, hopefully that isn't a bad thing. I laid there holding a pillow waiting for Zhongli to lay down too. I was already changed into an over sized shirt and some shorts to sleep in. I saw Zhongli walk over to the bathroom to go change. I laid in the bed staring at the things around the room until I saw Zhongli come out the bathroom. "Spacing out again?" He questioned. "Haha, yup you know me." I replied. He smiled as he laid down beside me. I felt thing ache in my heart again from having him so close to me. I cuddled into Zhongli's chest feeling him wrap his arms around me. Suddenly without thinking I looked up and Zhongli and stared at him in the eyes. "Is something wrong?" Without thinking I got closer barely leaving any space between us, then without any hesitation I leaned closer leaving a soft kiss. My face completely flushed, "Ah- I'm sorry that was so random.." I was completely embarrassed. Zhongli chuckled, "It's alright." He kissed the top of my head holding me closer to him. I looked back up to him asking, "Would it be wrong to say I love you?" He had this calm soothing voice when replying, "No it's not wrong, simply because I love you too, Childe." My face heated up more as I buried my face into his neck. I felt happy but yet I was still majorly embarrassed. I felt myself falling asleep so I decided to leave one last message, "Xiansheng, I love you." I said as I was falling asleep. I heard his soothing voice again, "I love you too Ajax."

A/N: I am pretty satisfied where this story is despite the fact I suck with dialog and I always focus the characters POV more than the characters dialog. I'm slowly trying to fix that lol. I'm sure I could have written things differently but we'll leave this as it is. I hope you enjoyed and let me know if you want more parts to this :)
