"Hey wanna go to spring fest?" Yuuri asked y/m on the phone. "Oh my god yes! I didn't go last year and I missed it so much!" Y/n squealed.
"Alright we'll go at 2:00 ok?"
"Yup" y/n nodded and hung up the phone. Y/n mother had over heard the conversation. "Y/n you should take sana with you."
Y/n sighed and sat down on the brown couch in their living room. "Why?" Y/n's mother put down her cup of black coffee. "Because your going to be step siblings soon and I want you to bond!"
After a small disagreement y/n agreed to take sana with them to spring fest.
Spring fest was like a fair. They have rides and food and performances.
The place was always packed. Y/n Yuuri and sana had all walked there because none of rBen has a car.
They all started out by paying to get in and they walked around looking at the baby animals in pens and looking at food options. "We should get a pretzel after a few rides." Yuuri suggested. Sana didn't say much.
They went on rides and ate their pretzel. They all sat on a bench ripping pieces of the pretzel off to dip it in the cheese. Yuuri popped a piece of pretzel in his mouth and looked around at all the people walking by. 2 people caught his attention.
The lady wore a red blouse and the man wore tan khakis. Yuuri choked on his pretzel and started coughing and holding his throat. "Hey are you ok?" Sana asked. Those where the first words she had said to them all day.
Yuuri didn't reply, instead, just starring ahead as his coughing calmed down. Y/n looked ahead to try and find out what had Yuuri so startled.
"Yuuri what is it?" Y/n asked teaching behind sana to pat Yuuri's back. Yuuri stood up suddenly and walked through the crowd of people. Y/n jumped up to follow him whilst Sana just sat there at the bench confused.
Yuuri pushed and squeezed by people and finally came within 10 feet of the couple. The couple where standing under a tent of shade. Yuuri didn't do or say anything just stood there, tears brimming his eyes.
Y/n had now caught up to him, standing beside him looking around. "Yuuri what are you~" she stopped when she made a line from Yuuri's vision to the couple. She gasped out loud. The woman turned her head. "Can I help you?"
The woman starred at Yuuri for a long time. "Mom?" Yuuri called out a tear running down his cheek.
The woman cocked a brow. "I don't have a son." She said blankly and turned her back towards them. "Mom it me Yuuri." He said stepping closer. Now the man was paying attention to conversation. The woman turned around again and studied his fearful face.
She raised her hand to him face and touched it lightly. "Oh my god..." she mumbled in disbelief. "Is it really you?" Yuuri nodded his head and leaned into her hand. "Where were you? Where did you go?"
"Oh mom. Don't act like you care!" Yuuri cried suddenly feeling angry with her. " you didn't even bother to look for me! I watched the news for weeks, saw the missing kids list. You never reported me. Never checked to see if I was still going to school or not. Im in 10th grade now mom! Almost 11th. I'm 16 years old! It's been over a year now and you never tried to find me!" Yuuri sobbed and cried, wiping his nose with the sleeve of his hoodie. "You weren't there for me! You weren't there when I was going through the hardest point in my life! Im transgender! And I have been since I was like 13! And I never told you because even when I was there you didn't listen to me! Are you happy now? Are you happy you finally found me? Or do you wish you never came here today?!" Yuuri ranted.
His mother didn't know what to do. All she said was "I'm sorry".
"I'm so so sorry Yuuri!" She tried to hug him but he backed up. "No you know what? I'm fine. I don't need you. I'm fine without you!" He yelled. Y/n at this point has backed away from the scene because it was stressing her out and she didn't want to leave sana all alone by herself. She was only 13.
