~~~ Scarlett POV
"Ticket please," The lady asked me. I gave my ticket to her and started walking onto the plane. I looked behind me, maybe Niall was going to come running over to me, telling me how much he likes me, and we'd be happy together. But that only happens in movies.
I looked behind me again. Maybe. Just maybe it would be true. But nothing. Nobody came to stop me. I walked onto the plane and took my seat in the first class section. I sat down, and closed my eyes. It would be a long ride from here. Away from everyone who ever cared about me.
---
I woke up several hours later, refreshed from a nice long nap. I grabbed my carry on bag and got off the plane. I was walking through the airport, but i kept looking behind. I don't know why, but I always thought Niall would run off the plane calling my name. But that would never happen. Like I said. This wasn't a movie.
I got my luggage and whistled for a cab. I had alot of stuff, so the cab was packed tight.
"So, uh, your Scarlett Lawire right?" The cab driver asked me. I was a little taken back. He was atleast 50 years old, i would have never thought he would be asking about me.
"Ya, i am." I said, giving him a questioning look.
"Would you mind sining this for me?" He said handing me a peice of paper. "My 10 year old daughter loves you, and never stops talking about you" He continued.
"Ya, for sure, whats her name?" I asked him kindly.
"Scarlett." He said giving me a smile. He reminded me of my Dad. Big blue eys, and light brown hair. I missed him so much.
I giggled, and signed the paper for his daughter. "Here ya go." I said to him when i was finsihed.
"Thank you so much, she will be so excited next time i see her. I don't see her much though" He told me, while his face suddenly falling into a frown.
"Oh, may I ask why?" I aksed, i feel as if i was talking to my Dad. No awkwardness what so ever.
"She passed away last month from lung cancer.She battled with it for 6 years and it finally won last month. She was your biggest fan, nobody was more interested in you then her. She loved you, she wanted to be like you when she grew up. " He told me, looking out into the park i lived across from.
I felt a tear roll down my face. I don't know why. But i felt like i had to. "Excuse me?" I said. He turned around and just as he did. I wrapped my arms around his kneck and gave him a meaningful hug. He realized what i was doing, and he hugged me back. "I am so sorry for your loss. Just remember to tell your daughter that I love her, and thank you for being my biggest fan." I told him as i pulled away.
We were both crying by now. We got out of the cab, and he got all my stuff our for me. I thanked him, payed him and gave him another hug. And we went our seperate ways. I gatherd my stuff and brought it up to my apartment.
---- 2 weeks later.
Today was the day of One Directions Madison Square Garden Concert. I would've been there with them, but it was better for me to come home.
