chapter 3

I was woken by dry leaves crunching below me.

My instincts told me to transform into my wolf but i knew i shouldnt.I have been trying to seperate my wolf and myself.  This should make it easier to reject my mate.

I have to reject my mate.
Its best for everyone
I hurt everyone who i cross paths with. I dont commit to anything. No one deserves that. To be mated to someone who wont always be there for them.

Crunch
I was tempted to just turn invisible but it was a werewolf gift and there was no garentee that it wouldnt strengthan my wolf.

I jumped from my bed, not making a sound.

It took a while but i masteted the skill of moving around undetected when i lived with my family.

Crunch

I have to go. I can either jump through the trees or i can transform and run on the ground. 

Ill take the tree's anyday!

I Made my way to the top roof of the tree house. If i did make any noise then the running water below me would drown it out.

CRUNCH. CRUNCH... CRUNCH!

i jumped continously through the trees. I turned around for a split second to see a pure black wolf with a small white flame shape on his front paw. I wasnt paying attention to that beacause of his bright blue eyes. They werent a normal blue. They were so blue it was inhuman.

Well, in-werewolf...
I turned back and carried on jumping.
When i got to the border line of the red rising pack's land, i jumped down.
I walked towards the border. I felt tingles all over. I thought it would go away.

shuffle....

I turned around sharply to be met at the forhead by their alpha.

Ive just realised that i dont even know his name. His name has to be something fancy like james or whatever.

"My name is alex"

What!!!?!?! 

"But you were close with james. Thats my last name. "

How did he know what i was thinking??????

"Its my gift. Do you have a gift?"

If i do whats it to you?

"I think i should know if mate has a gift"

" who says im your mate?!" I blurt out. 

" you want to know how i know we are mates?"

He had clearly opened a mind link so i tried mind linking him.

" yes "  i hesitated. "But speak outloud"

"I know by how i look at you. By how i feel when i look at you. And by how you look at me.
I know from the fact that we both get tingles from being around each other. And my constant wolf constantly complaining. I know because you're mine and you will always belong with me"  

I looked at him with waterey eyes. I ......belonged....

Thats it.

I have to leave.

I will leave tonight.

I took off.

I ran passes him and kept going. The more i ran, the less i felt tingly. I knew he wasnt following me.

I had to get out of there.

I ran.

And ran.

I ran passed the tree house and i kept going.

By the time i stopped running i guessed it was around 5 or 6 o clock. I was out of breath. It wouldnt last long so i stopped to catch my breath.

I heard a low growl.....

I instantly looked to where it came from. 

Everything stopped.

"MINE!"

I knew exactly who is was but  i wasnt about to stick around to make sure.

I started running again. This time was different. I was actually running from people now.

Not just hiding.

By now it was dark but i knew they were all still chasing me.  I dont know where the hell i was but it looked like i wasnt near anyform of life or civilisation.

I stopped by a stream to splash water on my face. I was feeling sick to the stomach.

All of a sudden, I felt a huge force push against me. And my head hitting a tree didnt sound good. 
All i could smell was burnt pinewood and old fish. I mean i was a rouge but even i didnt smell this bad!

The moon was full in the sky. It was the six month moon for me. I knew what was coming. A week of pain.

Heat.

I was lucky though because it used to be 2 weeks.

The pain was excruciating

I had to get out if there. 

I had to be isolated before it sets in.

Never in 2 years did i give into my heat.

I wasnt about to start now.

I ran and found my old place.

This is where i would stay until my tree house was complete.

This was isolated. 

I would Have to stay here.

I hope he doesnt find me...
