*Author's pov*

"Eomma, appa?" Jimin got shocked when he saw his parents standing at his office door. It's shocking for him to see his parents after years. He felt happiness in him. He left his family because of you. You asked him to leave his family, he hesitated a lot but at last he agreed. You asked him to leave his family for a reason which he never knew. If he comes to he'll be devastated thinking that his own parents were about to do that to him.
"Please come in" As he said that both of them came inside, he signalled them to take a seat. They sat on the couch while he sat in front of them.

"How are you, my son?" His mother asked as he replied with a small 'fine'.  The atmosphere was so awkward. Nobody tried to break it because they didn't know what to say. For Jimin, he didn't know what to say because they are meeting after a long time. His father at last broke the silence, "Is this the company you are working in?" "Yes" "What is your job here?" His father questioned him, "I'm the manager of the upcoming group." He answered as his father nodded.

"Don't you regret leaving us" His father snapped at him with the most difficult question ever, he looked at his father not knowing what to answer.
Just then you entered the room, "Jim---" You stopped at the mid sentence when you saw his parents. You looked coldly at them and entered the office.

"What is SHE doing here?" His mother asked, pointing at you at the 'SHE' word. "I work under her," Jimin answered honestly. You sat beside Jimin, glaring at his parents. "What are you doing here?" Your voice was like the coldest voice in the whole world, it could send shivers to everyone, even Jimin. He couldn't understand why you are speaking like that with his parents. He clearly knew whenever you are angry you speak like that but what made you angry right now. Did his parents arrival made you angry? What did his parents do to make you angry to an extent where you are giving them deadly vibes?

"We came to meet our son" You scoffed at their words. "Why?" You asked them. "What do you mean by why? Can't we meet OUR son?" His mother answered, clearly annoyed by your question. "After what you did to him, how come you have a face to meet him?" You snapped at them. This question clearly made them guilty.
"Or did you somehow find out that he is rich now so that you can take all his money?" Jimin looked at you with disbelief. How can you talk with his parents like that? He chose to be with you just because he knew you'll be left alone again that is why he left his parents for you and now you are talking with parents like this. He clearly didn't like it.

You clearly know that Jimin is annoyed by your behavior but today he should get to know the truth.  You hid it from him all the way long just because he'll get hurt when he comes to know about their parents doing behind his back.
"Y/N!!" Jimin shouted at you. "WHAT?" You shouted back. "HOW CAN YOU TALK TO MY PARENTS LIKE THAT?" You scoffed at his words.
"Parents? Them?" You pointed your finger at them. "You think they are your parents but they didn't even think that they have a son. All that they thought is that YOU ARE THEIR SOURCE OF INCOME" he looked at you confused yet shocked.

"YOU KNOW WHAT, THEY TRIED TO SELL YOU!! THEY WANTED MONEY! YOUR FATHER WAS A CON ARTIST, HE ESCAPED THROUGH JAIL AND THAT IS WHY YOU CAME TO SEOUL. HE HAD TO FEED HIS DAUGHTERS AND HIS WIFE SOMETHING BUT HE DIDN'T HAVE MONEY SO HE TRIED TO SELL YOU, TO GET MONEY, WHEN I CAME TO KNOW ABOUT IT, I TRIED TO SAVE YOU BY KEEPING FAR AWAY FROM THEM!!!" you shouted loudly, now everyone in the company knew something was happening in the office but they didn't interfere because they didn't want to get fired.

"AND YOU TWO, DON'T YOU DARE STEP INTO THIS OFFICE AND YOUR SON'S LIFE" You shouted at them as they looked at you scared. After that you went out of the room just then you saw jungkook coming towards the room worried.

Seeing you coming out of the room, everyone sat on their seats like they heard nothing. When you came out, you looked no less than a monster. Everybody gulped seeing you this angry. They never saw you like this. "Get out before I call the police" You didn't even turn back. And directly went towards your office as Jungkook followed you.

Jimin is standing there still processing what you said. "What she said, is it true?" He asked his parents as they tried to avoid his question, "Jimin listen---" "I asked you a fcking question." He is trying to control his anger. They nodded their heads. Jimin looked at them in disbelief. How can they do this to him? Their own son? How can they think of selling him away for money? He is trying to control his tears and anger. "Why?" They both looked down in guilt. "We can explain." His mother answered. "Then explain" His voice sounded calm and so scary. "We--We--" His father is stuttering, he is scared of his own son right now. "We we-re in t-the n-n-need of mone-e-y" He took so many breaks in the middle. Jimin looked at them coldly, he was never cold to anyone. He rarely gets angry but when he gets angry no one can control it except you. You know how to calm him down.

"Get out," He said. "Jim--" "GET OUT!!" He shouted, his control couldn't last long. "Y/n is the one who told us to do" They lied because they want their son back, they had to do anything to bring him back. Jimin scoffed at their words.  He knows they are lying because his best friend who always cared for him, loved him and gave him everything, never could harm him. "Do you want me to call the police?And yeah I never regretted leaving you" Hearing his question, they came to know that their son didn't believe their lie. They didn't want to get arrested so they went out of the building. But you are never going to leave them. They should face the punishment for what they did. They tried to harm your best friend, how can you leave them easily? No, no never, you are never going to leave them. They are going to suffer for what they tried to do. How can they even think of doing such things with your best friend.

You saw them leaving from your office, standing at the see through glass. Right now you look really scary. Jungkook who was standing there gulped seeing you. You also have the recording where they were talking about selling jimin.

On the other hand, Jimin is feeling bad for shouting at you when you always tried to make him happy. He understood why you hid this from him all along. If he was there in your shoes, he would do the same. You tried to protect him but he misunderstood and shouted at you. He needed time to process everything right now. His own parents  tried to sell him. How can they even think like that? He should clear everything out of his mind. So he went out of the building to get some fresh air.

You stood at the same place, seeing him going out, you sighed and went and sat on your seat. Jungkook wanted to ask what happened but he knew his limits so he just observed you. "Jungkook" You called him. He looked at you, "yes?" "Get me champagne" You wanted to clear your mind right now. He nodded his head and went to bring champagne.

At night

You were waiting for Jimin to come home. You knew he went to a bar with Yoongi and jungkook.
It's currently midnight, he still hasn't come. You were in your thoughts when the doorbell rang.
You opened the door only to see the scene which you never wanted to see. There was Jimin fully drunk and Yoongi and Jungkook were catching him from falling. I let them in. They took him to his room. He was talking drunkenly. He was hurt a lot this time. You always wanted him to be happy cause he mostly sacrificed everything for you. He was there with you and Yoongi  all the time. He knew both of your secrets and you both believed him.

The same goes with Yoongi, Yoongi was there with you through centuries. He is a cold type but not with you and Jimin. He shared his everything with you both.
