Mako Mermaids (Weilan x Reader)

On Land

Y/n's POV

"Ondina don't be so mean." I started backing away again until I felt something weird. I looked down at my tail but it wasn't there. "What happened to my tail?" "Y/n it's okay it's what happens when mermaids are dry." Evie said trying to calm me down. "Okay well who are they?" "Y/n this is my boyfriend Zac, his sister Mimmi, and our friends Ondina and Weilan." My eyes lingered on Weilan for a little while. I was really nervous so I shuffled all the way back to the water. "Y/n wait!!!" Evie yelled but I was already in the water. I kept swimming for a little bit until I stopped to think about everything that happened. Little I know Evie and Weilan followed me. I saw them swimming closer to me so I bolted eventually I got into a cave with a pool inside so I relaxed. Until Weilan and Evie came up out of the water. "Y/n why did you swim away?" Evie asked looking at me concerned, "I guess I just wasn't ready for everything on the surface or meeting more mermaids." "Well, can you come back I'm sure we can help you adjust?" I thought about it for a second then decided I would go. "Sure I'll go." 

Weilan's POV

After Y/n said she would come back I was ecstatic she was so pretty and I wanted to get to know her better. "So follow us the moon pool's pretty crowded so you can sleep with me at Rita's." "Who's Rita." Evie looked at her and said, "You'll see." We swam all the way to Rita's and when we got there Y/n was amazed by all of it she looked like a kid in a candy store. "This place is amazing." "I know but I should get home and you guys should get to bed." Evie then left.

Author's POV

Weilan made a bed for Y/n and they laid down. Y/n fell asleep almost as soon as she laid down and Weilan was up thinking about Y/n.
