Mark 11:23
"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." KJVThere is no big mountain anywhere, there is only one big God.
There is also really no little faith, it is either you have it or not. The context of the little faith comes from the fact that God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing including faith.
He has blessed us with every faith that we may need in life. You have access to the faith of God! And that's amazing.
God doesn't doubt! He is always full of faith!
And because you have access to unlimited access to faith, only a small fraction of the unlimited faith is needed to move the mountain.
Your level of faith in God's ability and willingness defines your faith.
Your faith is a combo of your hope in God's capability and your knowledge of his willingness to use his ability to help you.
The fact that God is not willing doesn't mean he can't do it.
The most powerful faith is rooted in God's willingness.
And that's why wisdom is needed.
Certain conditions may make God be willing for someone and not for you. Peter was smart to have asked Jesus if Jesus was willing to allow him to walk on water, and it showed that God was willing.
Any other disciple who might have tried it without seeking his will is likely to sink in the water.
Many believe that God is powerful but they are not sure he is going to help the more that he likes what they are doing.
Your knowledge of God's will concerning every situation you may face is a combination of your knowledge of his words and your relationship with the Holy Spirit.
Faith comes by hearing the Word and intimacy with God comes by obeying the word.
No matter the situation you may face in life, no matter the challenges that lies before you, you must know that God is capable to help you, and not only that but you must also know his will concerning the situation.
There is no situation that God cannot handle and you wouldn't have so much difficulty believing that!
But you should strengthen your knowledge of God's will by the word and by obedience. When you see the mountain and you doubt even after praying over it.
All you need to do is to go and build your faith part by willingness!
