Thud.
Dean groans loudly, his eyes closed tightly.
Another thud.
This time Sam groans, his eyes flying open. He looks around quickly before his jaw drops slightly, "Dean!" He reaches over to his brother and shakes his arm before sitting slowly.
"What?" Dean's annoyance is clear. As he opens his eyes he jumps up. "Where are we?!"
"I-I don't know." Sam slowly stands, not getting any help from his brother.
"Hi guys."
They whirl around, their faces getting even more confused.
"Jack?!" They say in unison, starting to relax some.
Jack nods before teleporting himself and the Winchesters to their Men of Letters hide out.
"We aren't in heaven anymore are we." Dean's voice is filled with confusion and a little sadness.
"No.." Jack says softly before snapping his fingers.
They look around before they freeze.
Dean doesn't stay for long before he sprints over to the angel in a trench coat, engulfing him in a tight embrace. "Cas."
Castiel smiles fondly at the Winchester, before hugging him back just as tight, "Hello Dean."
Sam smiled realizing this is real. His eyes shift to Jack, who is standing there dormant. "C'mere you."
Jack smiles widely at this, running into Sam's arms. "I missed you guys."
After a while Dean pulls away from Cas, though one hand stays on the angels shoulder. "Jack, why are we here? I'm not complaining at all, just curious. What happened?"
Jack stays in Sam's arms as he is asked this before slowly pulling away, walking to the table in the middle of the room. "Let me show you." He flips the switch on the side of the table and soon a bunch of red dots start appearing across the map.
"What the-" Dean trails off and he gets closer to the table, Cas following close behind.
Sam's face scrunches up as he tries to figure out what they mean, "What are they?" He walks over to the map, going over the red dots with a hand.
"I wish I knew, but I haven't seen it before."
"Can't you go to whatever they are and see what's up?"
"Dean." Sam's eyes dart to Dean, clearly not liking how his brother asked this.
"What? He is a god after all."
"It is okay Sam." Jack gives Sam a light smile before it fades as he looks at Dean, "I have tried, but as soon as I got their I could feel my powers fading."
They all look at Jack worridly, before he quickly shakes his head, "It has restored as soon as I left."
The Winchesters relax, but Cas leans in more, examining the places the dots appear, "They are scattered all over Earth but not in every area. Did you see anything there?"
"It was dark, the sky covered with clouds. It was cold too, really cold. Everything looked lifeless. There were some weird black figures but I couldn't see faces. I tried calling out but then I started to feel pain in my head, it is hard to explain. The longer I felt it the weaker I got." Jack shivers as he relives this memory.
"Do you remember anything else?" Dean looked at jack, feeling bad for the boy.
Jack shakes his head before looking down and rubbing his eyes, "It has been coming back in pieces."
"You didn't remember what happened when you returned here?" Sam looks at Jack before Cas and Dean, "We have never encountered something like this before."
"When I got back here I kept seeing the image of the sky in my mind. Once I rested I remembered more and more, but it has been over five hours since I have remembered last, I haven't remembered anything new yet."
Jack looks at the men and realizes they don't know what he is talking about. "I was recalling things every hour or so, never more than and hour and a half.. until now."
"Great so now creatures can mind block." Dean huffs, before stalking into the kitchen, Sam following.
Cas walks around the table moving to Jack. He doesn't say anything, but he hugs his nephew to him, scared that he will go back to the darkness at any moment.
Jack hugs his uncle tightly and he smiled, "You're never going back to that place."
