As I drove home, I didn't know what to do. My best friend is moving to the other side of the country! I don't know which state, but I didn't want to question Emily. She was sad enough.

I opened my front door to find out we had family over for dinner. I didn't look to good, so I removed my shoes at the door and ran quickly upstairs.

I applied light makeup to hide the blotchy parts of my face from crying my way home from gym. I quickly changed into a casual but classy outfit and fixed my hair into a messy bun. Cute. I ran downstairs.

"Kylie! How was your day?", my mom asked. "Great!", I replied. "Oh, Kylie, I forgot to mention that we had company. Aunt Annabelle and Uncle John came down from Washington.", dad said. I smiled. "I missed you guys!", I replied, standing up to give them hugs.

I sat down and realized that for dinner was my favorite; homemade macaroni, baked potato skins, and pot roast. As I made my plate, my mouth watered. I ate my food fast, and soon made another plate.

Once I was full, the family was in the living room chatting and watching TV. I joined them. My favorite show was on, How It's Made. I didn't realize it was really late until I almost fell asleep. I checked the time. It was 11:25! I quickly stood up and have my Aunt, Uncle, mom, and dad hugs and kisses.

I ran up iy my room, took a shower, and went to bed. I thought about Emily moving until I finally dozed off, into a deep sleep.
