Chapter 69 - Remote

The aroma of jajangmyeon (korean black bean noodles), flooded all around the house watering the mouths of the teenagers who were seated on the couch busy watching a action movie.

"Taehyung-shi it smells so delicious" Jieun praised as she smiled seeing the older shake his head, she looked down at her phone after hearing the subtle ting of the notification squealing when she saw her mother's reply saying that she could stay for the dinner but has to be back home before nine.

"My mom allowed me! I'm so happy that I'll get to taste jajangmyeon you are cooking right now" Jieun announced clapping her hands as she stood up and walked towards the kitchen bending down to take whiff of the delicious boiling black bean sauce.

"This smells amazing" she sighed out looking at Taehyung as the mint haired omega was draining water out of the boiled noodles.

Taehyung let out a giggle as he brought the noodles serving them in three plates telling Jieun to turn the stove off before he walked towards the pot and started to serve the sauce in the plates, and also placing the grilled pieces of pork belly.

"Jungkook, come here" Taehyung called out, as he walked towards the kitchen again and opened the fridge door taking out the container of spring onion kimchi and placing it on the dinner table.

The dinner almost went in a blur as Jieun kept praising the older omega over his marvelous cooking, the girl even declared that she'd often tag along with Jungkook just so she could get to eat Taehyung's cooked food.

And all the while Taehyung did was to laugh and giggle over the girl who was way too bubbly and talkative, she was really an ideal type any alphas or betas would need also with a kind heart she also possessed immense beauty with her wide eyes and long, silky, wavy brunette hair that reached all the way down to her mid-back with those curtains bangs complementing her face.

Taehyung truly loved her company and was really happy that Jungkook had found himself another one of good friend afterall Taehyung had completely let go of all his almost harmful possessiveness over his mate.

Now it was the time of Jieun to leave and Jungkook himself offered the omega a ride back home since he didn't actually want Jieun to go home all alone.

"Purple bunny, you really don't need to I'd call a cab" Jieun tried to make the purple head agree but she turned around feeling a touch over her shoulder.

"Jieun even I wouldn't like if you go all alone, let him drop you and yeah make sure to visit soon" Taehyung said his voice soft and ever so soothing as if he was talking to a little kid and patted Jieun's head with a smile on his lips.

The female let out a sigh already seeing Jungkook wearing his coat before she finally took her leave hugging Taehyung, she waved and walked out of the Jeon residence.

"Your mate is such an angel" Jieun whispered as she sat in the car pressing the button down as the window slide down and she poked her head out of the window waving her hand at the omega who stood on the doorstep and waved his hand back.

"I know that" Jungkook said as he reached his hand out and pulled the girl's hair getting her head inside the car, "Don't you have basic manners of not poking your head out of the car?"

"TAEHYUNG-SHI YOUR MATE PULLED MY HAIR!" Jieun yelled on the top of her lungs making sure that Taehyung heard her words before she comfortably sat in the passenger seat smirking at the alpha whose lips parted open.

"I'll tell him if you curse at me" the omega again warned her eyes widened as she pointed her forefinger at the male seeing him huff before the car finally started to move being on the road.
