Just another day of the Jeon couple cuddling close to eachother's embrace watching some random drama going on the television and Taehyung slightly shifted against Jungkook's embrace pecked over now tattooed arm slung around his shoulder glancing at his mate seeing him casually take a sip of canned beer.
"Kookie" Taehyung called out and nuzzled his nose into his mate's neck sniffing the scent feeling the calmness flood into him making him close his eyes.
"Yes love?" Jungkook answered pecking over Taehyung's forehead straightening his posture looking down at his mate.
"Isn't Euni supposed to be home already darling?" Taehyung questioned a pout forming over his lips as he thought about his thirteen year old beta daughter checking the time getting concerned over her.
"Didn't she tell you she was going to visit one of her friends and they are gonna work project, she is staying for the night there" Jungkook informed his eyebrows raising realising that indeed Taehyung didn't knew about the whereabouts of their daughter.
"She grew up so fast, the days were long but the years seemed so short" the omega sighed resting his ear over Jungkook's beating heart thinking about how the years just seemed to fly away right in front of his eyes and he barely even knew that his life got carried away so swiftly.
"I still remember the crying four year old kid we adopted looking at her now all grown up and beautiful, it makes me so proud" Jungkook chuckled thinking about those good old days when they entered the premises of the orphanage looking around all the giggling and laughing kids but ended up choosing the crying little girl who had beautiful dark green hair.
Euni reminded Taehyung of his mother and he decided that he would adopt her and Jungkook whole heartedly accepted the girl as his daughter.
"You were only twenty when we adopted her" the omega whispered looking at his now fully grown up and a renowned twenty-nine year old artist with right arm littered with tattoos starting from the fingers upto the shoulder.
"That's why more than a daughter she is my bestfriend since I know more" Jungkook winked teasing his mate seeing Taehyung roll his hazel eyes.
"But it's her duty to inform me Jungkook, she is definitely getting grounded by me once she returns" the omega grumbled standing up and walking towards the kitchen getting a glass of water for himself.
"Come on hyung lossen up" Jungkook sighed standing up himself wrapping his arms around Taehyung's waist smiling down at his love just like a lovesick puppy, his love for his mate never seemed to decrease rather than it just kept increasing day by day.
Taehyung scoffed already knowing that Jungkook wouldn't let Euni get grounded or punished, the younger wasn't titled as the favourite father for nothing afterall, "No"
"Hyungie please" Jungkook whined not wanting to see his little princess sad just after she enters the house after having fun with her friend over the night.
"Seriously Kook?" Taehyung huffed as his face was pecked over especially his lips as Jungkook seemed to keep going on with all the kissing until Taehyung had to push the purple head away.
"Why are you so mean to our baby kiddo?" Jungkook questioned his brows furrowing together already knowing that he has to argue with his mate for his precious daughter.
Anything for Euni afterall.
"I'm disciplining her and that's important don't interfere in between"
And so on the argument between the Jeon couple kept on going on before it was resolved with Taehyung lessening the punishment and Jungkook treating their daughter an ice-cream right after her punishment ends.
"Where did the years flew away Jungkook?" Taehyung questioned as he sighed looking at Jungkook who was almost finished cooking dinner for them as they decided to have a date at home since they didn't get much privacy for having such dates when Euni has been around.
"I don't know, all I know is I enjoyed every single second of it with you besides me" Jungkook softly answered as he turned off the stove.
"Too cheesy, Jeon" Taehyung giggling humming at the delicious aroma of bibimbap which made his mouth water as he waited until Jungkook turned off all the lights and lighted up a candle as they had their low-budget candle light yet exclusive dinner date.
"Only for you Jeon" Jungkook winked as he sat infront of his mate enjoying the view infront of him with Taehyung's beautiful face lighting up with the glow of candle light.
Jungkook smiled knowing that Taehyung had surely healed from all his past trauma, the older had been taking appointments with the therapist, a few days were rough but eventually Taehyung got a hold of it and since then the older has been way more better than he was before, and Jungkook was proud of himself that he helped with Taehyung throughout his healing process.
"You are still so beautiful hyung" Jungkook said almost breathlessly admiring Taehyung's features, everytime he looked at Taehyung observing his mate it felt just as if it was the first time he was doing it.
"Wrinkles are all over, I'm getting old Jungkook" the omega whispered out almost in a bitter-sweet tone seeing Jungkook sadly smile at him.
"I don't care about anything else, I would firmly admit that even your wrinkles are beautiful every single inch of you is beautiful, you are my beautiful mate afterall" the trueblood sighed as he softly placed his hand on top of Taehyung's hand staring into Taehyung's hazel eyes seeing the streaks of golden shimmering in the candle light.
"When I first met you, you called me green uncle and said that pick up line of if I had a name or would I prefer being called yours" Taehyung giggled at the fond memory of Jungkook as he closed his eyes briefly before opening them as they started to devour the meal taking about the exciting and humours events of past.
It astonished them both how far they have come, how they literally grew up with eachother being eachother's soulmate seeing people around them living their life they lived to be together.
Once the dinner was done they divided the work of cleaning talking about how Yoonseok the twelve year old alpha son of Jimin, Yoongi and Hoseok's had accepted that he would like to be the next King of Blue Moon pack.
Jungkook was definitely born to be the King but the fact he didn't want to have that responsibility changed everything, it changed his life and his mate's life getting Taehyung out of something he forced himself to do and think that he actually would like to do it.
As Jungkook perceived his career being a painter, Taehyung was conducting dance classes for young kids after a lot of convincing and support he received from both Jungkook and her daughter as he said that he never danced after the day Hansung's attention was caught because his dance.
Their daughter was the one who strongly supported her papa and fuelled him up telling him that he could definitely do it, the girl was literally his and Jungkook's strong little warrior that always filled them courage, their relationship might not be by blood but the emotions that connected them were stronger than ever.
Euni was their little angel.
Life went on for Taehyung as simply as it could, and one thing that would forever keep his soul in peace that he fulfilled the promise he made to an eleven year old Jungkook.
The promise of being Jungkook's mate and to love him with all his heart until death did them apart.
Taehyung didn't break his promise.
