Chapter 5: My Memories

"Eric that was mean." I whined. Eric scared me when I was coming out of my room.
"That's what you get for calling me names, honey." Eric's yelled while running down stairs.
I was chasing him around the house. My mom was in the kitchen. She was making soba and sweet buns. My father was in his room getting ready for work.
"Now, now stop running around the house. Go wash your hands and get ready for lunch." My mother said with a warm smile.
"Yes, ma'am!" Eric and I said at the same time. We both raced to the bathroom. Eric won. But I wanted a rematch. We both raced to the table. And this time I won. Eric tried to say excuses that I cheated.
We both ate our lunch and went straight outside.
You could say I am clothes to Eric. I have a crush on him. He is the only one that understands me. Well, because he is a demon. He says that he is my protector. That he is grateful for everything, so he wants to make sure that he protects me for as long as he lives. I love that about him.
We were having an amazing time. Then, this car stoped at my house. It looked like a white limbo. A man walked out. He walked to our front door and knocked. He spotted me and Eric. When the man looked at me Eric jumped in front of me. All the man do was smile and turned when my mother answered the door.
"Hello, ma'am. I hear you have something that we want. Are you willing to hand them in now or do we have to use force?" The man said.
"Over my dead body." My mother said. I didn't know what was happening and by the face of Eric, he didn't either.
"Okay, as you wish." The man said. Then one man grabbed me. I started kick and scream, but he covered my mouth.Eric was about to go all demon on him but he was grabbed too.
"No!! What are you doing?! Let them go!" My mother started to cry. When she looked back at the man he shot her in the head. And when she fell he want to make sure she was really dead. So he shot her two more time in the heart. My father came down and be for he could say anything he was shot too.
That's when I stoped. I started to cry and that's when Eric snapped. He turned to his demon form. To tell you the truth, the demon form is even more gorgeous than his human side. I watched him as he killed the man. But be for he could free me he was shot. But not by a bullet by a needle. Then he fell. I thought he was dead, but he was asleep. That's when I passed out.

When I woke up I was chained to the wall. I was in a cell. I saw Eric in the one across me he was still asleep, but he returned to his human side.
"Eric, Eric please wake up." I whispered, but loud enough he can hear me. Which he did. He startled to wake up. He saw me on the other side. He got angry. He tried to change but he couldn't.
"Serenity, are you okay?" Eric looked worried he examined me to double check. I was surprised this is the first time he didn't call me "honey". That mean this is a real situation.
"Yea, I am are you?" I asked him.
"Don't worry about me I am fine." Eric said.
"Serenity I need you to listen to me. Okay?" Eric said. He said it in a serious voice.
"Yes."
"Good, when I escape I am going to set you free. Then I need you to run and don't turn back. Okay?" He said.
"No! I am not leaving you!" I said. I started to cry.
"Like I said don't worry. I will find you. I promise." He said.
"O....Okay" I said.
"Good, okay here we go." Eric broke free! The alarm went off. He pried open my cell. Then he broke my chains.
"Now go I will hold them off." Eric said.
"Okay" I started to run, but then I stoped. I turned around.
"What are you waiting for you-" I cut him off.
"You have to promise. Promise you will come for me. Promise you won't leave again." I said. I was crying
He walked over to me and said "I promise." Then he missed my forehead.
"Now go" he said. So I ran and ran. Then the dream I had be for showed. Then everything stoped. And I woke up.
