Chapter 1 'Home'

Sam's POV

Finally! It's that time of year time to go back home to Hogwarts. When I go back me, Greg, and Katie will officially be third years.

"Samantha! Hurry we'll be late" Katie yelled.

"Coming!" I shouted back. As I grabbed my suitcase. We all lived in an orphanage. It's not the life we would have chosen but the three of us are fine with it.

"Samantha! If you don't hurry up we'll just leave with out you!" Greg shouted.

I quickly ran down the stairs and into the hallway for the front door.

"Alright I'm ready, and you know I don't like the name Samantha" I said lightly hitting Katie with my wand as I tucked it into my robes.

"And I don't like the name Draco what else is new?" She asked. I laughed and the three of us trotted down the street suitcases in hand.

"Can we just face the fact that we're lost?" Greg sighed.

"We're not lost its the stupid map that doesn't know where we are" i grumbled.

"Here let me see" Katie said snatching the map like a snatcher.

"The maps upside down" she said.

"Well that's not my fault it's the maps fault!" I protested.

"School starts in a week and we haven't gotten anything on our lists, and..." but Katie never finished. Because a huge purple bus pulled up in front of us.

"Welcome to the Knight Bus, emegency transport for the stranded wich or wizard. My name is Stan Shunpike and I will be your conductor this evening." he said taking the bag out of my hand. We all climbed aboard. The bus was deserted except for...

"Harry?" Greg asked.

"Greg? Katie Sam? What are you doing here?" Harry asked as we all took a seat on a roll bed.

"Well Katie, her,got us lost" i said pointing to Katie.

"Did not!" She snaps.

"Your right...it was Greg" I said with a sigh.

"No!" Greg said crossing his arms.

"Alrighty alright it was me...happy?" I said smiling.

"So aside from us being lost, Harry, What are you doing on the knight bus?" Katie asked folding her legs.

"I might of um...blown up my Aunt" Harry said shyly scratching the back of his neck.

'Is that all? So you blow up your Aunt and decide to run away from home" I said shrugging my shoulders as if it was nothing.

"Sam, this is serious, Sirius Black escaped as mass wizardying murder, Harry could have gotten killed" Katie said.

"Oh Katie you sound like Hermione, look Harry's fine we're fine we're all good" Greg said lightly bumping Katie's arm.

Suddendly the Kinight bus jerked to a stop and I went flying onto Harry. I landed on Harry and crushed him against the wall.

"I'm sorry" I said lightly blushing, everyone...well everyone as in Fred and George along with Katie and Greg knew about my small crush on Harry. But the four of them were sworn to secrecy.

"It's alright" Harry said smiling at me. Then the Knight bus jerked forward. Me landing back first on the roll bed with Harry landing on top of me.

"Sorry" We both said at the same time. We both giggled as Harry helped me to my feet.

"Are you two alright?" Harry asks.
