After my nightly rituals I sat on the bed toying with the silky sheets, a gift from when we had the Chinese Imperial Empress visit us. The pearly pink sheets were soft to the touch and felt like water, so lightweight and slippery. It was accompanied by a cashmere woolen blanket, lightweight, breathable and comfortable. I heard a rasp on the door and it slid open. It was my father.

" Father! What a surprise! What brings you here?" I said, reaching my arms out to him. He lifted me off the bed and embraced me tightly. I buried myself in his embrace, and he squeezed me tighter. " i just wanted to see my daughter, i have a mission with the Ryomens and we both have to travel tomorrow at dusk, for some unexpected urgent business, '' he frowned. He then set me down gently and kissed my forehead. I frowned at the news.

His businesses are always so dangerous. He smiled gently " i shall take maybe around two weeks, so while i am gone, would you please take care of your mother for me?" he said, patting my head.'' of course.. Please do be safe, though " i said , pouting all the while. He chuckled and gave me a pat on the head. " Alright, then. I'll be off." and exited out of the room.

 I let my mind wander aimlessly around until a soft knock came from my door. It slid open to Sukuna, wearing a simple cotton baby blue yukata loosely hanging around his body,exposing his well defined muscles,his hair tousled. He had a lazy grin on his face.

"Hi there princess.." he murmured as he slipped into bed beside me, i automatically scooted myself nearer to him as he engulfed me in a warm side hug. He pulled me closer and i was resting on top of his chest while we chatted about aimless things.

 It felt like we've known each other for years, so natural and smooth, how we understood each other and all that. His musky and spicy scent filled my nostrils pleasantly. " what do you want to do now then?" he asked while stroking my hair. "Mmm, how about... reading a story?" i suggested. Sukuna slid off the bed, and chose a random scroll about greek mythology.

We wasted no time in getting comfortable and he started reading about the greek myth and how the father of the most powerful gods had eaten up his own children for fear that they were to overtake his throne " that's pretty dumb, they ended up doing up what he fear most" Sukuna snorted "And the fact that Zeus and his siblings had to be inside their father, like ew" i srucnhed my nose, earning a chuckle from him. 

He went on reading and I felt my eyelids drooping. His voice is so comforting, I could do this everyday. The last thing i heard before slipping into sleep was

                                                       "Goodnight princess, sweet dreams"
