It was now afternoon on the same day that Hansel got released from the hospital. The doctor told Layered Envy (or her real name Lillian) that she was supposed to bring him home. But everyone that took part for the past few days were holding a little party at her bakery. And she wants Hansel to attend, even though he's in a wheelchair.
Layered Envy: We're home, Hansel.
Patissier Hansel: This isn't home, Lily. It's the bakery.
Layered Envy: I know. Um, all of us have decided to hold a little party.
Patissier Hansel: My birthday was almost a month ago.
Layered Envy: No, I think you don't understand. It's not a birthday party. It's a...uh...victory party. A victory over the Moonlits and Michaela.
Patissier Hansel: Oh.
Layered Envy: I promised the doctor that you should take it easy for a while. That means no baking.
Patissier Hansel: Dang it.
Layered Envy: I know how eager you are to go back to work. But as your boss, I want you to rest.
Patissier Hansel: Okay.
Layered Envy: Let me get your wheelchair and then we can go inside.
She got out of the car and got the wheelchair from the trunk. She unfolded and put it on the ground next to Hansel. She unbuckled his seat belt for him, too.
Layered Envy: You ready?
Patissier Hansel nodded.
Layered Envy: 1...2...3.
She picked her boyfriend up and placed him in the wheelchair. She then wheeled him to the front door before she or Hansel got hit by any passing cars.
Layered Envy: Okay. I gave Robert d'Aglior a key to the bakery, so it must be unlocked by now.
She opened the door wide enough for Hansel's wheelchair to fit through. Then she kept the door open with a box she found nearby. She went back to her boyfriend and wheeled him inside.
Patissier Hansel: Where is everybody?
Layered Envy: Good question. And why are the lights off?
She found the light switch and turned on the lights.
???: Surprise!
Layered Envy and Hansel saw the d'Aglior family, the Gills family, Stephanie and Helen, the Lucifen d'Autriche twins, and Gretel. The bakery was decorated with all kinds of stuff.
Patissier Hansel: Wow. The bakery has never looked better.
Patissier Gretel: Little brother, are you okay? Why are you in a wheelchair?
Layered Envy: His arms and legs are temporarily paralyzed.
Patissier Gretel: Temporarily? Does that mean he'll be back to normal soon?
Layered Envy: Yep.
Agitation: This party is for all of us. For saving you 2 and Alexiel from the Moonlit couple and Michaela.
Patissier Gretel: Don't worry, Hansel. Lily and I made everything.
Patissier Hansel: (seeing all of the food at one table) That's quite a lot of food.
Layered Envy: Is there anything I can get you, baby?
Patissier Hansel: I want to see if Gretel did my apple pies right.
Patissier Gretel: I'm on it!
She cut her brother a slice. Lillian had to feed him because he can't move his hands.
