1. BrightBright is searching for Arthit. Rushing all over campus in desperation to find his friend, Calculus paperwork in hand, hope slowly ebbing as time ticks on and the next lesson looms over him and his terrible understanding of Maths.
He's just reached the edge of the basketball pitch, wondering if perhaps his friend has stopped to chat with his juniors when he sees a flash of a maroon jacket vanishing into the changing room. Intrigued, he follows.
Inside, he pauses and listens as he is inching his way around the corner. There are definitely people in here - the rustling sounds prove it (unless there are suddenly giant rats running around playing basketball - Bright shudders at the thought, and also considers for a moment whether rats would look good in tiny basketball uniforms before he snaps himself out of it!)
He's peering around the corner when Arthit steps into his line of sight, a maroon shirt flapping open over a tight black t-shirt. Sure, Bright might like to chase the ladies, but he can appreciate the way the shirt clings to Arthit's body in a non-sexual way.
He grins, clutching at his papers until he creases them, and prepares to step out and call Arthit's name.. when another figure steps into his line of sight too.
Kongpob.
Interesting.
That junior has been causing Arthit all kinds of stress over the past few weeks of hazing so immediately, Bright's imagination rushes to thoughts that he's cornered Arthit here to have a showdown.
A second later, Bright closes his eyes and sighs deeply - Kongpob hasn't cornered Arthit here for an argument, not at all!
Wet, smacking sounds continue, invading Bright's brain and making him wonder what he did wrong in another life to have ended up in a sweaty locker room, listening to one of his closest friends make-out with one of their juniors whom he supposedly hates, if the sounds are true.
A lot - he must have done a lot wrong.
He cracks an eyelid, just as Arthit and Kongpob pull back, stepping away yet unable to hide their delight.
"This doesn't change anything, 0062!" Arthit says through his smile, trying to make himself sound stern and failing pathetically.
"I know, P'Arthit. Except..." Kongpob's smile becomes a smirk, one that Bright wishes that he could pull off one day without being smacked in the face by the young women he is trying to flirt with, "Everytime you yell at me in hazing, I'm going to be imagining kissing you, so please excuse me my happy smiles and far away looks at future events!"
"You little -" Arthit reaches out to punch Kongpob's shoulder, but his junior catches his fist in his hand and pulls it around his waist, drawing Arthit in and linking his own arms over his shoulder.
Arthit coughs and looks embarrassed and Bright feels like he's seeing a completely new side to his friend, and finds that he thinks it is rather endearing.
"I like you P'Arthit, I can't help it." Kongpob's eyes are shining and Bright suddenly wishes he wasn't here, inching his way backwards and preparing to leave.
"I wish I didn't like you too, Kongpob." Are the last words he hears as he turns and runs, wondering if Knott knows anything about Arthit and Kongpob, and also if, for once, since Bright's in shock, he'll help him with the scrunched up Maths work in his hand?
Damn! Bright's brain decides. Who can care about Maths work when he's just seen his grumpy friend all loved up? He's certain the shock has knocked all his knowledge out of his head, so.. maybe he can use, "I saw my best friend making out and it has caused me to go temporarily insane!" as his excuse for not finishing his work?
Well, it's worth a try...
Although, perhaps he should keep this a secret.. for now..
