The Truth Behind: Mearis

 Many years ago back in 2008, the Yogscast recorded videos with a mysterious character by the name of Mearis Gunderson. However, he mysteriously disappeared without explanation. Nobody knows for sure who he is or how he fits in with the rest of the Yogscast, but here is all we know.

 Mearis Gunderson used to play World of Warcraft with Ye Olde Goon Squad (YOGS for short), the origins of what we know today as the Yogscast. Everything seemed normal for the first few videos.

 Fast forward a few weeks and he is no longer in any of the videos. He has not played any WoW for a long time and nobody knows why he left. Some say that because he had unnacceptable guild conditions, what we know as the Yogscast today left. It is still unclear and awaits confirmation from those involved.

 This is all the information I could gather, as there is no information about him anywhere and several forum threads have been shut down by the admins, stating that the users should stop spreading rumors. No answers are provided about who he is, where he went, why he left, etc. In fact, it's almost as if he's been forgotten about, as he is never mentioned in any videos and most fans do not know who he is.

 Maybe Mearis is a sinister being with malicious intent towards a YOGS member, or maybe he is a murderer who was arrested.

 Another theory is that he is actually dead. The reason nobody mentions him and nothing is known about him may be that he was killed by a Yogscast member and left to rot. However, there are no obituaries or records of his death.

 Perhaps he is just a figment of imagination, only real to those who believe he is there. This may explain why fans do not recognize the name "Mearis" or seem to remember him at all.

 Whoever Mearis is, he certianly is very mysterious and enigmatic. We are still researching, but we have found our quest fruitless. Will we ever get answers? With them will come a sense of closure. For now, we know very little about this strange figure. Who is Mearis really?
