You see it was s normal day , momma went to work , My sister and I went to school and after school I (Katie) went to work my four hour shift at the corner store and my little sister went to Lauren our neighbor while our mom worked her second night Job she worked harder than most , we had a shitty two bedroom apartment in the ghetto , I shared with my little sister Ally , Mom worked at a country store and a strip club at night , she had beautiful blonde curls , blue eyes , tan toned body , but she was aging from all the hard work. You're probably wondering where's my dad at ? While that man is dead to me. He left us when I was 5 three days later got arrested and put in prison for killing four people drunk driving. I don't drink at all for that reason. He's pretty fucked up to me. So my mom has been stuck raising us , I help as much as I can.. I work low pay Job , haven't had much saved to for college. I pay money to a school so my sister can dance, she loves to dance , she's good! Real good, graceful and I love to watch her preform. Anyways i was walking home from my four hour shift , it was dark , scary in sense but I'm tough. I walked four streets to our complex , police sirens in the back ground behind me , street lights blinking , and stray dogs running around. I make my way up four sets of stairs and turn the key to our place , "fuck Katie where have you been , get your sister I have to be to work bills have to be paid shit Kat, hurry up next time " mom rushed out the door throwing heels on. I walked out behind here and knocked on Sam our neighbors door, sorry I say grabbing ally, she's 5 clueless but so intelligent. She looks more like me we get mistake for Mother and daughter a lot instead of sisters. I laugh because I am more like her mom. Ally talks a lot. So it was the usual she rambled for ten minutes about kindergarten , she colored and learned her abcs listening as I made some supper well our fridge is empty , I noticed , Ally lets go get some burgers with my tip money i got. Excited I put her sweater on and we headed out. I carry her through the street even through my back hurts bad. She smiles and tickles me, I try my best to stay positive. It means the world to her. The burger place is run down its 5 dollars for a burger I only have 5 so I let her get one and told her I wasn't hungrey even through my stomache was growling. We walked home after her full and tired , when we walked through the door I bathed her and put her in my bed "night baby girl" when she fell asleep I took out my loads of homework it's 12 am school starts at 7 I have to walk at 630, life is tiring but I push through to have straight A's for Ally. Finally I go to bed moving Ally over she's a bed hog, pisses me off at times. I finally fell asleep and I hear the door slam shut. "Hahaha" "bill" my mom brings home new guys every fucking night. She's lonely or maybe just a hoe. She's fucking loud I wake up and walk out there go to bed mother I scuff. She tells me to go fuck myself, my mom is a mean drunk. She used to hit me , I used to have scars. A guy she brought home raped me one time , I kicked and screamed that asshole broke me , mom told me to keep quiet so I did . I'll get the fucker back. Glad Ally wasn't born. I was around 12 , I shut the door and continued to my sleep hearing my mothers nasty moans from her room. Round two of me falling asleep when the door get heavily knocked on. Kat mom screamed get the door you shit. I wake up I'm infuriated now. I opened it "hello" the fuck you want this late? "Let me the fuck in" Now he pushes me away choking me alittle bit I scream he hit me in the neck. "Bitch shut up" I ran to my room while the dressed in all black man ran to my moms room. I'm guessing she got herself into trouble again. Anyway I woke Ally up and told her to hide in the closet and be quiet. Than I opened my drawer and pulled out my knife , nigga is gon die , I whisper. As I'm about to walk out the door I hear "bang bang bang bang not one shot, not two not even three but four than the man in the black ran out the door and away I was afraid to even look. No no no Ally started screaming , " ally stay " mom? Mom!!! Mom! Fuck no, there was a pool of blood , and Bill ontop of my mom. I ran over pulled bill off and there my heart dropped , covered in blood and tears dripping down her face my mom lay alive , cold shivering her eyes steed ahead shocked , I picked her up, held her tight and called 911, the ambulance took my mom away for help copping, I took ally and we went to stay with Sam she prepared us Spegetti I wasn't hungrey, Sam watched Al , as I went to put in statements , I almost cried telling Fredrick the detective. Lying to him about all my moms job, because I know if I say the truth they would separate me and Ally. When we were done he guided me home and told me my mom would be back to tommrow , "don't go back to the apprentment kid" he shouted as I walked away . It's now 7 am and I am late for school and so I walked upstairs , "Ally girl guess what I say throwing my hands up" NO SCHOOL!! She chants and screams Sam can we go watch Tv , yes hunny Sam replies. I than gathered myself together and left for school and work. ally did her usual don't leave crying fit, and finally three hours later I got to school. Mrs J doesn't even ask why I'm late, she's really cool and loves me. I sat down and tried to learn but running on two hours of sleep I koed right there, Mrs J rubbed my back and told me to stay after class doing her usual "lecture " so other kids think I am in trouble but I am not. The day dragged on, work was the worst! Finally getting off I gathered my stuff my paycheck and walked home well to Sams to see Ally. She's my favorite part of the day, When I got home mom was home , I grabbed Al and we went inside it was a mess broken class , which I never even heard break, blood my mom was cleaning , her room was closed off, it was musty smelt horrible I covered Ally's eyes and took her to my room, I set her up with a book and shut the door , "Kat wtf your horrible bitch" my mom yelled no mom you're the bitch I am done , I am I screamed I never yell. I told her what's up , than I went to my room packed a bag and took Ally. Come on hunny. My mom screamed as we left. Crying now to. I had 100.00 dollars in my savings , our local hotel was about that for a night with free food to! We walked 5 miles to get there , but when we did I paid for the room we went to the dinning hall, and ate good than headed to our room. I made a warm bubble bath for Ally than watched her splash around and have fun. I turned on the tv , and than I used to the hotel phone to call Sam and tell her we are safe , durning the call I could hear my mom screaming and crying for two doors down. She needs help iHun Sam said. "I know" . Ally needs me well be back Tommrow. Ally all soapy and wet accidently called me mom "mom help me find clothes" Ally I'm sissy I thought in my head but just let her call me mom because honestly it fit. I tucked her in and went to phone someone else I knew , his name was D we were good friends , I told him to come stay with us, he was there in ten minutes driving his old Honda , hugging Ally and me , I took him into the other room to talk. As he goes "what's up girly" I shook. Don't cry Kat Kat I thought but he reached over and hugged me and all the tears poured out. I can't do this anymore D I said. He sat there for two hours telling me it was okay. He's here now all that inspirational shit I needed. Honestly I've been in love with D for years now but never mentioned it. Slept right next to me and ally was on my other side he spooned me and cuddled me and durning the night I thought I was dreaming but he kissed my neck and held me tight. As I rolled over to be like wtf D is that you? He kissed me, slow and sweet. Made everything feel better , I feel asleep like a baby that night. We all slept and slept when I woke up it was bright and sunny, shit I said jumping up , fuck it's 12 pm , I'm late Als late , hurrying to get ready and leave I tripped on a blanket, and hurt my knee shit. Acting like it didn't hurt I picked up ally and D give us a ride to our shitty ass appartment. See you later he said speeding away. Ally started crying, "Kat " what ally ? " I'm hungrey " I gave her some crackers I had. As I have a broken fucking knew I piggy backed her all the way our appartment. Walking through the door there were four men, and my mom smoking weed, "you make me sick you fuck" all the men laughed , I just kept walking when I got to my room my shit was gone ? Forgetting ally was on my back I screamed , wtf " that oh hunny I threw it away" ? What why great I thought in my head. Boys step outside I need to talk to my daughter. They walked away. Mom? Explain ? I had to buy crack Kat , understand me please.. I didn't even knew you did crack , shit your crazy women, I love you mom I said , I always told her that anyway, than I took me and Ally into our empty small cold room rolled out a blanket and put a pillow down here baby lay here and practice your abcs . I called D can we stay with you? d is 24 he said yes he than left with him, excepting a shitty house like ours I was wrong, D had a big modern house with nice cars outside , I was shocked , I asked why he drove a shitty car, he laughed "it's cover up" I felt embarrassed that he even saw my house , he lived on the beach with roommates. When we entered all I could hear was "hey""hey" this is max, joe , ryy I cut him off , you live here ? It was a Mansion. How ? For us to know suga screamed I think max I laughed, I'll show you to your room said D or should I say mansion I thought. I left ally with the boys fora second and D led me to his room for a tour , he's the game room, party area, work area, and my room opening his doors to a big king bed , Mirriors surrounded his room, it was dark, there was a hot tub, D closed the doors pushed me up against the doors and kissed me down, just a tease I laughed,than we opened the doors and walked back to the living room. Ally was happy playing some game with max. I was never going home it was official lol, I think joe was gay he had an appren on making food talking and dancing all gay, it was comical, D left the room he said he had business to deal with. Max was with ally and I was about to fall asleep on this very expensive comfy couch. Dousing in out , fuck I wasn't going to school or work tommrow. Ally hasn't been to school in days so I'll send her I just need a break.
