Chapter 5

PAST

Some selected students were going to other school for their competition. It was of 3 days. All the students started sitting in the bus. Ritika, Tanu and Meenakshi were going to sit together.

"Ritika!", a voice came. They looked up to see the owner of the voice, It was Sourabh.

" Ritika, it's your seat. This seat is booked for you three", He said showing them the seat infront of him. He was sitting behind them with Ravi and Raj, his friends.

"Booked?", Ritika said.

" Yeah..hh booked", He answered nervously. Ritika gives him teasing smile.

"Umm... We are few students so our seats are booked", He finally came up with an excuse.

"Reallyyy", she teased him.

"Yeah. Yeah", he said.

" Okay", Ritika said and the trio sat. Sourabh sighs in relief. Tanu was all nervous, how is she going to sit in front of him that too 5 hours. It was 5 hours trip. Tanu was nervous but happy too. Behind her, the boy's tummy was filled with butterflies (uske mann mein laddoo phoot rhe the).

The 5 hours long trip came to an end. Finally, they got out of the bus. Then, they had to take an auto for the school because bus was not able to enter the premises. In all these, they end up sitting together in the auto. He was overjoyed. This is the best day of my life. Both of them thought and mentally grinned. After half and hour, they reached and went to their given rooms. Girls and boys rooms were in different blocks.

It was night. All the participants/students came in the mess for dinner. Two pairs of eyes were finding each other. They took their plates and sat with other friends of their school. They were stealing glances at each other while eating. Ritika notices and started fake coughing.

"Uhhuu"

"Are you okay?", Tanu said in her sweet voice and gives her glass of water.

" Yeah. I am fine but someone is looking noo staring at someoneee", she teased them. They blushed and looked away. Others looked at her with a confused look. She shrugged and started eating.

Sourabh thought she is looking so beautiful in her casuals. He always saw her in school uniform, this was the first time he saw her in casuals.

After dinner, they left to their respective rooms. Next two days, the competition took place. Sourabh and party did traditional dance and Tanu and party did a play. And the time they spent together was the meal time. Both wait for each other to come and eat together. They didn't talk much like sharing 2-3 words but their eyes spoke more.

It was their last day there and also result declaration day. The boys got first position in traditional dance and girls got second in play in interschool competition. After celebration they return back home.

It was night Tanu was watching movie with her family. She was lost in her own world or can say his thoughts.

THUD!!

And she got back into her senses. She looked at her mother only to see his 'his?' face. Her eyes got wide and blinks twice. She then looked at her brother and father, again she saw the same face. She closed her eyes and shakes her head. Then, slowly open her eyes to see her family's face clearly. She sighs in relief and continue watching.

What is happening to me?

What was that?

Oh my God!!!

I am getting mad.

I am thinking too much about him.

Is this love? Nooo this is only infatuation. I am just attracted.

But is this really love??

He will never confess. He may be a smart, confident and intelligent person for others but infront of you he gets nervous. His lips gets seal in front of you
