"Thanks mom," I said to my teary eyed mother.
Today was the official day before college starts. Automatically, I couldn't help but think of the sadness I felt knowing I wasn't going to be living with my parents. But at the same time, I was bound to move out eventually.
Now just for getting all of my bags to my room. With only the help of my mother and obnoxious little sister. But, although she can be extremely annoying, I still love her.

My mother grabbed three bags and my sister grabbed two.
I grabbed four just to kind of show that already I was strong and I could do this. That was all of my bags, thank goodness.
We carried them all the way to my dorm and threw them on my bed. I plopped down with a heavy exhale from exhaustion.
I, now, couldn't help but worry who my roommate was going to be. Someone nice I hoped.
"Okay Sweetie, this is it," my mother said. I took a tissue out of my bag, knowing she was going to immediately start crying when it was time to drop me off.
"Thanks," she said as I handed her the tissue.
All of the sudden a girl, my age, walked into the room. She looked nice.
"Hi! You must be my new roommate!?" She asked, walking over to me. Awe she was nice.
"Yes I'm Chloe! Its awesome to know we are going to be roommates," I responded. We hugged.
"Okay, I'm going to go," my mom said. She walked over to me and hugged me goodbye, along with my sister.
I waved to them as they left.
"It's okay. Its great to know your my roommate too!" The girl said.
"I'm sorry I didn't catch your name?" I asked.
"Oh I'm dearly sorry. I'm Alex!" She responded.
"Oh! Well nice to meet you Alex! When do you start class?" I asked her, she was super friendly. I guess I was lucky!
"Tomorrow. You?" She asked.
"Same. I'm not that excited, but I'm not that nervous... thats a lie," I said.
"Haha its okay. What class do you have first?"
"Technology, you?" I asked.
"Me too! What time?"
"9 oclock," I responded. She squealed.
"Me too! I gotta finish unpacking," she said and then started unpacking into the dressers next to her bed. I did the same.
When I was finished it was pretty late.
"Okay, I am going to go to sleep."
"Okay!" My new roomy responded. I got under my covers and fell asleep.
Morning
I woke up when my alarm clock rang. I moaned and mumbled some annoyed words at my alarm clock. Light flooded our room from my room.
"Morning!" My roommate woke up, her hair looked fine. Meanwhile mine probably looked like a rats nest. We both stretched at the same time and then giggled afterwards.
I got up and walked over to my dresser and took out a purple crop top with a black melting heart on it. Then I grabbed my blue jean shorts. I walked into the bathroom and changed into the clothes.
I smiled at myself in the mirror. I grabbed my toothbrush and brushed my teeth.
I applied light makeup and straightened my brown and blond ombrèd hair.
Now I was ready. I walked into the room again and put on my black vans.
I grabbed my books and waited for Alex.
"Okay, I'm ready!" She said skipping out of the room with me. I made sure to close the door behind us.
We talked until we reached our classroom. We were one of the last people so we had to sit all the way in the front but we got lucky with two seats next to each other. the teacher stood in front of the class and started talking.
"Go on your computers," he started. I did as he said.
I felt something hit the back of my head, it was a ball of paper. I looked at where it came from and saw two boys giggling. They sat next to a guy who looked annoyed by them.
I rolled my eyes and went back to the teachers instructions.
After class me and Alex walked out first.
"Did those doofuses in the back hit you with the paper ball?" Alex asked me, I nodded and held my books close to my chest.
"Hey wait!" I turned around to see if anyone was calling me.
"Oh my god, thats THE Connor Franta!" Alex squealed but quietly.
The guy ran over to us and walked next to me.
"Hi, I'm Connor and I'm sorry my idiotic friends hit you with the paper," he spoke to me.
I heard Alex giggle.
"It's okay. And I'm Chloe."
Connor's POV
I wanted to smack them so bad, but I couldn't with the teacher right there, teaching.
I apologized after class.
"Listen, I don't stay here but I was wondering if you wanted to chill sometime?" He asked.
I heard the other girl giggle again.
"I'll leave you two alone," she said and walked away.
"Um... sure. You don't stay here?" Chloe asked.
"Yup. I have my own house with three of my friends," I responded. I had my books under one of my arms.
"Oh. Yeah sure! You look vaguely familiar. Where have I seen you?" She asked.
"Youtube?" I responded.
"Oh yeah! I saw you in one of Ricky Dillon's videos! I love Ricky haha," she responded. My heart broke a little when I heard that.
"Oh cool! I live Ricky, JC and Kian," I responded.
"Oh my god! I also have watched Kian! You live with them!?" She shreaked, making me laugh.
"Yes I do. Whatcha say? Saturday?" I asked her.
"Yup! Wait, Saturday is in two days?" She asked, I nodded.
"Okay! Fantastic! anyway, I have to get to my next class, so I will see ya later?" She asked, I nodded.
"wait, can I have your phone number?" I asked. She nodded, took my phone and typed in her number. I thanked her and went to my own class. But I couldn't focus on the board, I could only think about her beauty. Her sparkling green/ blue eyes pulled me in. She was so amazing and perfect.
