A calm silence settles between the two as they stare off into the night sky. They listen to the soft tunes that are playing from the earphones they're both sharing.
Try to convince you I've got nothing to prove
And nothing to hide, I'll take you everywhere
Nya leans into Harumi's shoulder and closes her eyes, as if enjoying the moment. Harumi looks down at her and admires her calm features. Warmth creeps up to her pale cheeks. She wonders if she should put her arm around her.
A cool breeze passes by, Nya scoots closer to Harumi.
You're along for the ride, not easy to scare
Harumi feels warm arms envelope her right arm. One of the arm's hands tiptoes down her arm and holds her hand. She looks down. Nya is softly smiling at her. She can feel her warm breath. They inch closer.
And suddenly it's easy with the lights on
Eyes close, slowly but surely they get closer and closer until their lips meet. Harumi feels electricity on her lips and the tips of her fingers.
I found my nicotine, amphetamine
The only thing that's good to me
They forget the world. They forget their worries. They forget about the blanket that was keeping them warm, they don't need it they got each other. They thought about each other and how connected they feel. Everything was alright for a bit.

When I look at you, and I can't breathe
They pull apart, Nya exhales softly and smiles at Harumi, her cheeks a tint of pink. Harumi's arm snakes its way around Nya's waist and pulls her closer to Harumi. They pull the blanket over themselves and continue listening, but this time there is no distance between them.
