I say I'm strong,
And I try to believe it.
When I'm so broken,
It's my mantra,
So I can endure all the pain.
Because when you're fighting
The demons that are lurking
Deep inside, you need to believe
That you can win,
If not, why fight?
I say “I'm stronger than this ",
That I won't succumb.
I can get over this,
It won't be my tomb.
I won't bow down.
I say I'm strong enough
To keep working,
To keep studying...
I need to say I'm strong enough,
To keep living.
I'll lie until I
Believe it.
I'll fake it
Until I make it.
It's easier said
Than done.
I just hope
That I am strong enough.
