Chapter 2

'Those guys in the back are the typical classroom bullies that control the room,' Stephen thought as he took his seat at the front of the class. 'They're disgusting like Oswald and his goons. At least they're showing their true colors unlike that bitch Bryce,' He took out his phone and began to absentmindedly scroll through social media. 'As long as they don't mess with me, I could care less,'

He heard someone approaching and when he sensed that someone was reaching to grab him, Stephen acted first. He grabbed Colton Choi's wrist and twisted it harshly until a loud snap was heard. Colton screamed in pain and stumbled back.

'You think I'll show you mercy!?'  Stephen spun and kicked Colton in the side, sending him crashing into some desks. He grabbed the front of Colton's shirt to prevent him from running away and began to punch him mercilessly. After a few hits, Colton was already bloody and crying. 

"If you bother me again, I'll kill you!" Stephen finally released Colton. He scanned the rest of the class to see if any other challengers would approach him. Once he saw there were no other challengers at the moment, he sat down and wiped the blood from his hand with a handkerchief.

'Ha, not even his 'friends' came to his aid!' Stephen thought. 'They just stood by and watched as I defeated him,'

"Hey Alex, I thought you were gonna crush Colton Choi?" Ben Park of Class 1-8 asked his best friend. "You sure you won't be the one getting crushed?"

"What do you want, dumbass?" Alex questioned.

"I'm sorry to tell you but apparently he already got beat today," Ben informed. 

"What? By who? From Class Three? From Class Nine?"

"I don't fucking know," Ben answered. "This kid, Steph-something, in his class grabbed Colton's wrist and immediately broke it. He then beat the shit outta him, I heard,"

"Broke his wrist?" Alex raised a brow. "You sure you don't mean his nose?"

"Nope, it was definitely his wrist!" Ben replied. 

"I'll get my chance to crush Colton Choi another day," Alex said, recalling the bad blood between him and Colton.

"Let's go check out Class Five," Ben suggested. "You can call me a lair after that,"

The two made their way to Class Five during break time where other students had also gathered, having heard the rumors too. One of the students pointed out Stephen to the others.

"That wimp over there?"

"Really?"

"How can someone pretty looking actually beat Colton?"

"Colton left early out of embarrassment?"

"Yup, along with his goons. Colton also had to go to the doctor's to have his wrist looked at,"

"Damn, that kid doesn't even look like he can fight,"

"Actually," Alex spoke up. "If you look at his arms, you can see that he's not that thin and he actually does have some muscles,"

"I'm telling you, it was the most chilling sight. Colton hadn't even grabbed him when the guy retaliated. Colton couldn't dodge and didn't have a chance to fight back,"

"Interesting..." Alex said. "I've never even heard of that guy before so I don't think he gets into fights often. I wonder where he's from," He noticed a tall student also observing through the window. "Isn't that Gerard Jin from Do-Eui Middle School? He must've heard the rumors too. He's gotten even tall...fucking giraffe,"

"Gerard!" Ben greeted. "So curiosity got the best of you too, huh? Haha,"

"And you two are still as inseparable as ever, it seems," Gerard replied. "Ben, Alex,"

"The fuck you looking at, shit stack?" Alex challenged.

'Hotheaded idiot,' Gerard smirked. "Just thought you two looked good together,"

After school finished, Stephen glanced into the hallway before exiting. 'There was a crowd earlier. I noticed them pointing at me and probably talking about my fight against Colton. It seems like none of those guys are planning on fighting me,'

As Stephen was crossing under the bridge passage, he caught sight of three thugs: Colton Choi, who had one of his wrists in a splint, and his two friends, Royce Na and Eddie Moore. 

'Wow, even now his 'friends' from class aren't going to help him,' Stephen thought. 'He got two randos and I can tell that they're not going to let me pass by without a fight,'

"Hey you, bitch face,"

'Right now, it'll be three against one,'

"This is the one? You really played yourself against this kid?"

'I need to avoid being restrained,'

"Colton, you fucking idiot,"

'I'll win with any means necessary!' While the trio was busy talking to each other, Stephen took out two pens and wielded one in each hand. Without waiting for another moment, he knocked Eddie down by kicking the back of his legs. He immediately kicked him in the chin stomped hard on the nearest hand.

"You fucking dipshit!" Royce and Colton charged at him.

Stephen elbowed Royce in the throat and then punched him in the face. He was tempted to stab a pen into Royce's eye, but decided that cops would probably get involved if he gets blinded. If Stephen were to get arrested, he wouldn't be able to visit Gray at all. If he were forced to move schools again, he'd be even farther from Gray.

Stephen kneed Royce in the guts and then punched him in the face once more. He slammed Royce's face into the nearby railing, knocking him out cold.

"You didn't even try to attack me this time around," Stephen turned to face Colton. 

"S-Stay back!" Colton ended up backing into one of the walls. 

"You know, anything can be a weapon," Stephen grabbed Colton's uninjured hand, slammed it against the wall, and stabbed one of the pens into the back of his hand.

Colton screamed. Stephen kicked Colton in the groin and slammed his face into the wall multiple times until he was unconscious.

'The only way to get people to leave you alone is through fear,' Stephen glared down at his defeated opponents. 'Fear is what controls people,' "Hey, green haired guy, you here for a fight too?"

"No," Gerard immediately denied. 'I knew that Colton would make a scene if he lost, so I got worried and followed him since he'd be outnumbered, but he didn't need my help at all,'

Stephen in this AU isn't mentally stable meaning more pen trauma for everyone!

What should Stephen's nickname be? Gray's the White Mamba so what should Stephen be called?
