the sound of a bowl of ramen hits the floor. Breathing heavily, Tanjiro had caught a familiar scent. He reached for his katana and starts running leaving Nezuko behind.
(Tanjiro POV)
"This scent! Why would I catch it here all of a sudden?" I ran through an alleyway to get to the main road where the scent was getting stronger.
"It's the same scent that was left in my house!" I dashed through trying to clear my way as I nudge some people out of my way.
"Muzan Kibutsuji!" The scent is getting even stronger as I'm running.
"Is this the guy giving off that scent?" I reached out and grabbed him by the shoulder.
He turned around and he had peach coloured eyes "Hmmm?" He hummed as he looked back at me.
"It's him!" I was fuming with rage and my blood was boiling. Veins popped on my forehead as I looked at him. I reached for my katana.
"Daddy?"
I stopped halfway as I heard a little girls voice. "Who's that?" He turned slightly and he was carrying a little girl.
*GASPED*
"He's...."
"It's all right"
"He's...."
"Don't worry"
"He's living here pretending to be a human!" They both looked at me.
"Is there something I can do for you? You seem quite flustered." He spoke with a kind and calm manner, a woman showed up right beside them.
"Ara. What's going on?" She asked they both turn to her.
"Mother!" The little one said
I'm shaking in shock as I see them interacting as a normal family, I covered my mouth as my whole body was still shaking. I grabbed my uniform and clenched my fist to hold my emotions.
"They're humans! The girl and the woman....their scent is human!"
"Don't you know?"
"Can't you tell?"
"That this guy is a demon? That he devours humans?"
The woman turns to me. "Do you know him?" Then they all faced me.
"No."
"Much to my consternation, I've never seen this child before." His hands lowered with his sharp purple nails.
"He must have mistaken me for someone else."
He reached over to a passing civilian and made a quick move scratching the man neck.
*ACHH* Was the only sound I could make when I saw this happen. The man stopped and he started wavering. As he slightly leans on his wife for support.
"Dear, what's the matter? The woman asked her husband. His veins started showing on his neck and face.
"ROARHHH" The now newly formed demon bit his wife on the shoulder.
"Stop!" I yelled as I passed through to stop the man from killing. Peoples voices can be heard asking "what's wrong?" Or "Are you okay?" I paused in horror as I saw all of this go down.
The woman scream caused everyone to stop and look at what was going on.
"Is that blood?" A person asked.
"Stop it!" I yelled as I removed the covering over my head and wrapped it around my hand.
(Muzan eyes locked on to the earrings tanjiro has)
