As the loud bangs and smashes continued, Elixa crouched down, tears staining her once bright and colourful, now pale and full of horror cheeks, as the explosions continued. She heard deafening screams and cries out, but they only terrify her more. After the screams and clatters calm down a little, she decides to peek out of the small crouching ball she's became.
She saw rubble of her once home, L'Manburg. She began shaking and then glanced over, seeing many others, shock and confusion plastered over their faces. She walked over to her brother, Toby, and hugged him, as she had noticed the tears welling in his eyes.
"It's all gone.." She thought to herself. "All of it.. the home so many people bonded over, fought for, died for even! It's all gone! Thanks to him.."
A few tears rolled down her cheeks until she wiped them away, breaking the embrace she had with her brother as she looked back over at the rubble filled crater that was once a bustling country.
She stood there, spellbound until she felt someone wrap their arms around her, this person felt much different to her brother, of which she was comforting a few moments before. He felt.. taller?
She turnt around and saw Thomas, her brothers best friend, tears in his bright blue eyes as he glanced down at her. He hugged her tighter and she decided to hug him back. This was the first embrace they had ever shared, and Elixa would be lying if she said she didn't enjoy it, even though he was always a bastard.
She'd always loved hugs of all sorts. Quick ones, empathetic ones, meaningful ones, all of them. After a while she broke away and wiped her eyes, blinking back the tears. She had to stay strong, for L'Manburg's sake.
She took a deep breath and regained composition, before breaking the deafening silence. "Okay guys.. I am just as confused as you are, trust me. But we can, and we will get through this, because we as L'Manburg, a nation, will stand tall and strong as we always have. President Tubbo would you like to say a few words?"
She'd always been the motherly type, looking after people no matter who they were. But if they hurt her family, country or friends, especially her brother, they would be dead. She was typically one to be a leader and was very proud when her brother, of which had been given the nickname "Tubbo", was elected president.
Suddenly she heard her brother speak up. "I'm stepping down.." he said, a shaky, petrified tone in his voice. Everyone looked at him, absolutely shocked out of their brains. "What!?" Thomas said as he spoke up. "Tubbo, you're this nations last hope!!" He said, insanely stressed and panicked.
"I'm stepping down, and handing presidency over to my sister, Elixa." he said. Everyone shifted their glance to the young, brunette haired girl. "Toby I'm 15!! I'm way too young to manage and control a country!" One of Elixa's friends Nikita spoke up.
"Well now you'd be president of a crater.." she said, sobbing as she re-addressed the elephant in the room. "Yeah but, as I said, we as a nation will overcome this together. We all know and trust eachother, I'm definitive that we will get past this, especially with Tubbo in charge!"
That was one of the largest, hardest to swallow lies she'd ever told. Nothing could guarantee success these days. Not even just blowing it up more and covering over the hole, leaving it there forever and never rebuilding, unlisting L'Manburg as an independent country.
Tubbo looked at his sister pleadingly "Please Elixa.. you're the only one I know who I can assure will do this place some good." She sighed and looked over at everyone else's faces. They all had the same pleading expression, mixed in with some confusion, fear and most of all, trust in her.
"Fine.. but just promise me.. you'll tell me if I have to do something to make the country better, okay?" She said, smiling whilst trying to lift the mood. They all smiled and Toby ran over, pulling her into a warm and tight embrace, as they had shared a few minutes prior. "I knew I could count on you sis! In sure you'll be the best president L'Manburg has ever had!"
