I've had nightmares for as long as I can remember. Even as a normal clone nightmares often haunted my dreams and they only got worse after Skako Minor. When I joined the bad batch the nightmares started coming for me nightly, sometimes I would even have multiple a night. The whole squad knows about them at this point, but Hunter is the one who helps out the most. He just has this way of always understanding what's going on and helps me through it. I can still remember the first time Hunter found out about my nightmares...
------------------------------------------
I was back on Lola Sayu. Escorting Anakin, Ahsoka, Rex, Fives, Obi-wan, Cody, and Tarkin to our ship to get off this rock. The droids firing at us as we slowly advance upon them. The Jedi all synchronized, unsheathed their lightsabers, their faces laced with determination. They all ran across the battlefield and started to tear the droids apart. Fives, Rex, Cody, and I all formed a circle around Tarkin as we escorted him into the ship.
The Jedi managed to fend off most of the droids but they just kept coming. They all ran to the cruiser and yelled for us to take off. Rex and Cody jumped into the pilot and co-pilot position and started to take off. The droids still fired at us but Fives turned on the rear deflector shields to protect us along with the Jedi still looking out of the back entrance. We got off the ground and sped out of the system. Once out of the atmosphere we immediately jumped to hyper space.
We did it! We got out. We lost a few soldiers and our Jedi Commander Piell but we still had the information thanks to Tarkin and Ahsoka. The Jedi came to the cock pit and we all took our first sigh of relief. We made it.
But... Something felt off. I don't know what but it felt really, REALLY off. I pushed the thought to the back of my mind as Commander Skywalker said,"Boys take us back home. Also rest. That was a lot for all of you." We all nodded and set a course to Alderaan.
A while went by and I was in charge of keeping the ship on course through lightspeed. Although I had my feet up on the dashboard and was watching the stars zoom past us. I still felt that unsettling feeling deep down in my gut. The ship was awfully quiet too.
Suddenly the cockpit door opened and I thought it was Cody or Rex coming to check on me. I put my feet down and turned towards the door. But to my surprise it was the Jedi, Anakin, Obi-wan, and Ahsoka. They were all just staring at me. I smiled and said,"Hey Generals. We are still on course." They didn't move or speak, just kept staring at me. I looked confused at them and asked,"Um... Is there something wrong?" Anakin quickly lunged at me and held me by my neck onto the chair I was sitting in. He were choking me! I tried to get out of his grip but Obi-wan and Ahsoka Came and held my arms down to the arm rests. That's when I got a good look at their eyes. They were black! I struggled to get free while Cody and Rex came into the room along with Tarkin.
The room turned into a medical facility and I was strapped to a medical table with doctors and droids all around me. I was now restrained with metal restraints around my arms and legs and chest. I started screaming and yelling as the droids and doctors began removing parts of my human body and replacing them with droid parts.
And that's when I jolted up from my bed screaming. I was sweating badly. I turned to my side as I heard a voice saying,"Echo. Echo calm down. It's just me. Nothing is happening." I met eyes with Hunter and the rest of the batch. They were all looking at me with worried eyes, even Crosshair looked a little more surprised than normal. I turned my head away from them and placed my head in my hands. Hunter looked at the rest of the batch before turning back to me and asking," Uh. You ok Echo?" The rest of the batch, except Tech, seemed not to know what was going on. I sighed and softly replied," Yea... I-I'm fine." Hunter again asked," What was that? You were screaming and thrashing around. We tried to wake you up but you wouldn't."
