S4 Jean x reader

Requested by _AngelicLucifer_ sorry I didn't do this one when you asked I kinda got unmotivated with this book. Hope it's ok.

Gabi entered the airship and almost pulled the trigger of the gun but you were always known for your quick reflexes. "Look out!" Without even thinking of your own safety you threw yourself at the child, grabbed the gun and directed the shot at the ceiling of the airship. Everyone had cleared out of the way at your shout, had the gun fired at anyone it would have hit Sasha.

She fell to her butt and wiped the sweat from her brow, "thanks (Y/n) you saved me again." Jean wasn't impressed though, he grabbed you by the arm and forced you to stand up. While the rest of the crew beat up the two kids for attempting to kill their comrades.

He took you to another part of the ship and made you sit down. "Are you insane?!"

"Jean I just saved Sasha and more people from being shot." This man never let you go without a lecture when you'd do something he considered stupid and dangerous.

"You could have been shot you dumbass!"

Enraged by his ungrateful attitude you shot up and pointed a finger at his face. "I reacted on instinct ok! And that instinct saved anyone from being shot, especially Sasha since she was right in the line of fire. So it would be nice if I at least got a thank you."

He swiped your hand away, "you still did a dangerous act. You really do outdo Connie and Sasha in idiocy sometimes."

Your pupils widened out of anger, not thinking you slapped him. His own features were that of surprise, he stared at yours and felt his gut roil with guilt. Tears formed in the corners of your eyes, brow furrowed and teeth gritted. "We lost good men today Jean! So why is it when I save some you still aren't pleased?!"

You stormed off to a part of the ship he wasn't in. An apology was on the tip of his tongue, but the slap still stinging on his right cheek made him need to cool off himself. "Hey Jean I just passed (Y/n) she seemed pretty mad- oh man what did you do now?"

"Drop the look Connie, I know what you're going to say."

Sasha's voice cut in, "then if you know what he's going to say. You know you're in the wrong and should apologise." The potato woman was stuffing her face with food already.

Connie knew he had to add, "dude...if you want her to like you then you need to say you're sorry."

"Yes. I know. You're right, don't need to rub it in. I was just worried about her that's all! She just jumped straight in front of that gun!"

Sasha swallowed her food, "yeah but she survived is the part your forgetting."

Another voice cut in, "if you don't apologise I'm going to tell her to never talk to you again."

The three of them turned, "Mikasa!" The raven haired Ackerman leaned against the door frame. Jean glared at his two best friends, "you told her?!"

"No it's kinda obvious, I mean to me at least."

Sasha couldn't help but joke, "oh you mean because it's so obvious how you like Eren." A death stare was all Sasha needed to be told to shut up.

Jean let go a loud sigh, "right I'm going to talk to her."
