Chapter Two- Addition to the Pogues.

I stepped out of my bedroom to be greeted with the confused faces of 3 people. There were 2 boys, one looked kind, while the other one was looked at me with an obvious interest, which made me slightly uncomfortable. There was also a girl, she was beautiful, she had long, wavy hair, and the prettiest eyes. They all sat on the sofa, I think I disrupted their conversation. I stood by my bedroom door, not entirely sure on what to do with myself. Nobody was making any effort to introduce themselves, so I played with my nails, and tried to avoid eye contact.
'You look dumb,' one of the guys told me, getting up from his seat.
'Nice to meet you too?' I shot back. I went over to the kitchen and helped myself to some icey water, and sat on the chair opposite the group. John B came out of the bathroom, and looked at me, then at the others. 'Guys, this is Olivia, my cousin, the one I told you about?' I gave them a small smile, and then  focused on the glass I was holding.
'Hi, I'm Kiara, but please call me Kie, I'm looking forward to getting to know you Olivia!' Kie hugged me, she seemed to sense how uncomfortable I was before, I definately needed a bit of comfort. Kie sat on the arm of the chair I'm sitting on, and started pointing at one of the boys. 'Thats pope, he's not much of a talker either, he's super brainy and is gonna make us millions!' Pope looked up due to hearing his name and gave me a wide smile. Maybe making new friends wasn't as hard as I had first imagined? Kie then pointed to the blonde guy. I have to say, he was one of the most attractive people I had ever seen. 'Thats JJ. Careful though, he doesn't make good decisions, and he will probabily be dead by the time he's forty, if he makes it that far, but he's really fun to be around.' I looked up at JJ, who was just staring at me. Again, I didn't know what to do with myself, so I shuffled in my seat, and played with my hair.
'Hey Olivia, we're going to a party, Sarah Cameron is hosting it, you have to come.' JJ said, so I agreed to go, as long as John B was there.
About 10 minutes later, everyone had left and it was just me and John B.
'You can let go here Olivia. You don't have to be awkward, or shy, just be yourself. Trust me, my friends will love you for the way you are.' John B came to sit next to me. I had grown very fond of him actually. I felt lucky to have him in my family. I looked up at him and smiled. 'I didn't fully get to thank you for providing me with a place to stay for the summer. I would have been completely alone if it wasn't for you.'
John B gave me a small smile. 'Anytime Liv. I'm here for you. On the phone you never told me what happened with your parents, but just know, I'm here if you need to talk to anyone about anything.'
I hugged John B for 3 minutes straight. He was just like his dad, a really good person. I thanked him again, and then changed the subject.
'So John B, what's the party gonna be like tonight? Who's Sarah Cameron? What do I wear??' John B looked overwhelmed at me after I fired the questions at him. 'I don't know Olivia, wear something... nice? Sarah Cameron is a Kook, we don't like Kooks.' 'Why?' I questioned. 'We just don't okay? They have too much money for their own good. Anyway, it's her house, her brother Rafe's too, promise me that you'll stay away from him okay, he's dangerous.'
I agreed to stay away from Rafe, not that I had a clue what he looked like. John B told me to hurry up and get changed, so I ran up to my room, and decided what I was going to wear to the party.
