Two hundred years ago, a certain mage, Donquixote Rosinante loved a boy like his own son. To save his life and cure him of his disease he performed a spell more forbidden than any other.

One of immortality.

However the spell was faulty, as a result the boy, Trafalgar Law, fell into a deep slumber for 10 years.

When he finally woke up, he was only woken to the sight of his already long passed master.

90 years, he travelled, in the darkness, fleeing from the wrath of the only other like him...
The legendary dark mage, Donquixote Doflamingo.

After 90 years, he had grown numb, living alone in a country long forgotten by the world, his home country from decades past, Flevance.

Then one day, a girl walked to his side.
"Nice weather isn't it?" She laughed so casually, it almost humored him. After decades of isolation a random girl appeared next to him, and the only thing she has to say is small talk?

"Would you like some tea?" She asked, her usual smile as if spreading to the frowning man's lips, truly a rare sight to behold. He had wanted to humour the little witch for a while, but she was addicting, like he couldn't get enough of her presence, perhaps it was alright if she stayed just a little bit longer...

"Wanna go somewhere?" She asked so casually while attempting to cure her boredom by floating droplets of water onto a certain grumpy man's face. It worked, she laughed to herself.
"No." Law stated bluntly, causing the girl to pout. He might've found that sort of cute.

"Law! I made you something!" She stated, presenting a flower. A black rose...
"You made a flower?" Law asked, his tone clearly doubtful.
"I only made it so it never withers... But doubting a witch's skills like that is pretty rude y'know?"

"Why are you always reading books?" She asked, probably already knowing the answer. Law sighed,
"Because there isn't much else to do here, is there?"

"Law! Come out!" She called for the man. Law reluctantly stood up, heading outside, only to find the witch in a bikini.
"I found something to do, come on, let's go swim!" She smiled, grabbing a hold of the man's arm.
"Oi-!" He attempted to protest, but it fell on deaf ears.
"It's about time you left that stuffy office of yours, y'know?"

"Hey Law... I've never seen you use magic before, why is that?" She asked, leaning on the back of the man's chair for support.
"I don't like magic." He stated plainly.
"But you don't seem to mind when I use it?" She furrowed her brows confused.
"That's because you only use it for stupid things." He laughed dryly, causing the poor witch to blush in embarrassment.

"Look, a shooting star!" She smiled widely, she truly was humoured by the smallest of things Law thought. Perhaps that was good, after all there wasn't much else to do here now that it was winter.
"Wish for something!" She suggested, maybe it was more like a demand. He didn't quite get why, how could a mere star make a wish come true? But sometimes she was impossible to deny.
'I wish to spend more time with you.'
