Thinking Of You//Tony Stark

Chapter One

I heard the oak wood door creak open, it must've been Tony due to the fact that he is the only one who has the key; besides myself. This last year had been complete bliss. I seriously did not know where I would be without him, and honestly speaking I want to spend every second of my remaining life with him by my side, however long that was for.

"Hi gorgeous." He places a soft kiss to the pale skin of my cheek, a blush burning at the skin.

"Where were you? I woke up without you," my lower lip sticks out in a large playful pout, "Jarvis didn't even let me know." Usually, Tony would ask Jarvis to let me know where is was if his presence was absent when I woke or even arrived home. "I was so worried," I admitted, my blush deepening.

"Don't worry, there was an emergency meeting I had to go to. I was in a hurry, hence the fact I didn't let you know." He announced, lazily taking the seat beside me. I turn my head, letting Tony's brown orbs to absorb every each of my features, a smile twitching at his plump lips.

"Just let me know next time, please?" I demanded, biting back a small smile. Tony's heart stopping smile widens, causing my heart to skip a few critical beats.

"Was someone worried about me?" A teasing tone over powers his voice, his left eye dropping into a wink. I roll my eyes, choosing to ignore the fact that I had mentioned I was worried before.

"No." I state bitterly, focusing a harsh tone into my voice adding to the dramatic tension.

"Aw love don't be worried. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me, I love you." Another kiss is placed to the smooth skin of my cheek, a crimson colour flushing my cheeks faintly. I sighed, trying to hide my smile haunting my lips as a shadow.

"I love you too," I admitted, letting my attention fall to my hands that are in my lap, and ashamed tone lace my voice; "and maybe I was a little worried."

"Is there any important avengers business that you need to tell me?" I asked, knowing that any avengers business should have included me but wouldn't as I had left because I needed a break from the super hero life at the moment as everything had gotten too much in the last few months.

"Nothing important but Katy you know you can come back anytime you would like there is always a place next to me available but I understand why you needed time away." He reassured me.

I was a assassin just like Natasha but I also had the ability to control anybody's mind. Which I didn't use all the time but it did come in handy if you had an opponent that wouldn't comply. Fury had found me when I was only 18 and I had met Tony when I was 20 and I had finally been initiated into the avengers when I was 21 and that had been 3 years ago.

"So do you think Banner would mind if we miss his birthday party?" He asked, lowering his left eye in a flirty wink, giggling I nod my head.

"As much as I want to stay here with you, Banner is our friend we have to be there. Also your the one that forced him to come to his own birthday party." I sighed, getting up from his hold on me, which only consisted of his hands fiddling with my fingers.

"Well, the guests start to arrive at seven, so maybe we have enough time?" he informs with a wide smile.

"Oh would you look at the time that leaves just enough time for me to get ready. I think I might go have a shower. Want to join me?" I asked flirtatiously, raising my eyebrows as I remove my presence from the seat, looking over my shoulder at the sight of Tony already chasing after me.

"Babe you don't even have to ask," Tony said following me like a love sick puppy.

I was finishing getting ready as I heard the party starting down stairs, the joys of living in the Avengers building was that you almost have parties whenever you wanted and being Tony Starks girlfriend life often felt like one large party. Parties were never my thing I was more of an introvert than an extrovert like Tony but that what made us perfect we were opposites but we just clicked.
