*Joker POV*

Jade and I are running through the hallways, trying to find the train, to get out of here. Killing monsters on the way.

I see a door to our right, and stop.

"What's wrong" Jade ask.

I put my hand on the door, reading the letters on said door.

Jade come up behind me. "Are you ever gonna tell her?"

I lower my head. "I don't know. She's an innocent person and I wanna tell her, but-."

I look back up at the door. The letters on the door haunting me.

"But how do I tell someone, that I dragged into a nightmarish hell, my biggest" I look over at Jade. "Our biggest secret."

I look back at the door then at the ground.

I feel a hand in my shoulder. "You might've dragged her into this mess, but that does not mean she doesn't deserve to know what we really are."

I feel Jade's hand leave my shoulder.

"Well, whether you decide to tell her or not, just know it's better to tell her now than never."

I look back at Jade, seeing her walk away.

"I know, but."

I take my hand off the door and run after Jade.

"Rayla" I thought. "I promise, the next time I see you, I'll tell you the truth about what I am."

As Jade and I keep running, we both noticed a door that says "control room".

"That must be it" Jade says in excitement.

We both go through the door, the room has multiple monitors and desks.

We both noticed a glass window and go towards it and see the train on the other side.

"Yes" Jade yells. "We found it. Now we can get the fuck out of this goddamn city."

I shake my head. "Not without Rayla and her friend."

"Right, right. Not without them" Jade said.

I look at one of the nearest desk and noticed a key. I walk towards it and it's labeled "train".

"Bingo."

I grab the key and put it in my back pocket, hopefully to not lose it.

Jade goes over to one of the monitors to type something in but nothing.

"Are you fucking... shit. Are you fucking kidding me!"

I walk towards Jade. "What's wrong?"

"Shit" Jade yells. "She must have shut down the power to this place. I can't access anything."

"So how do we turn the power back on?"

Jade looks over and spots a map of the lab. Jade inspects the map.

"There" Jade points to a room. "The breaker, that's our next target. If we can get to the breaker, the entire lab will be back online."

I look over the map. "Maybe we can also try and get the train started too."

"How's that?"

I look at the map. And noticed a "generator" title in one of the rooms.

"Generators conduct electricity, right?"

"Yeah, why" Jade ask.

I walk towards the glass window. "If we can get the generator up and running, we could probably get the train working in no time."

"But the generator and the breaker are in two separate rooms" Jade said. "We can't just split up, when we're stuck in the fucking lab full of blood thirsty monsters."

I put my hand on my chin, trying to think of an alternative. "If Rayla and her friend were here, that would make this a lot easier. But.."

"I don't think we-"

I was interrupted by the sound of footsteps.

Jade and I ready our weapons.

"On my mark" Jade said.

The door slowly opens.

And out came.

"Joker" Rayla said.

I lower my gun.

"Rayla" I said with joy.

Rayla look at her friend then runs to me. She wraps her arms around me and I do the same.

"It's so good to see you" she said.

"Ditto" I said.

I look over Rayla, seeing a few marks on her face and body, but then I noticed a little trail of dry blood coming from the corner of her mouth.

"Rayla" I said. "What happened. You got blood on her mouth?"

Rayla's eyes go wide.

"It's nothing. Must have busted my lip or something" Rayla said, a little panicked.

Rayla looks to my right and sees Jade.

"You must be Joker's sister" she ask. "It's nice to meet you. Well, nice to not-behind-a-fence meet you."

Jade smirks. "Nice to meet you too Rayla."

Rayla looks over at her red head friend.

"Charlie, come over here!"

"Okay, okay. Sheesh."

"And you must be Charlie" I said, putting my hand out. "Nice to meet you."

Charlie takes my hand. "Like wise."

"So" Rayla said. "What's the plan?"
