IAN

Laura wore a white robe. "Welcome," she said, putting on her mask and looking at Samuel with no emotion. Years ago, when they were both single, it was a well-known story that Samuel left Laura for another woman. Laura did not expect Samuel to come there.

When they went to the main room, Ian regretted taking off his jacket. He was tolerant of low temperatures and never thought he was cold when he entered the morgue. He thought he was getting old slowly. The white tiles on the walls reflected the blue-white mixture of lights on the ceiling, making the room even brighter. The blue of the light matched the coldness of the room.

Samuel approached Victor's body lying in the middle and carefully sifted it from head to toe.

"Different criminal weapon" Laura continued wearing gloves "As in other crimes. Different kitchen knives every time "

"He doesn't choose criminal tools carefully," said Samuel. "He just takes a sharp knife and attacks."

Laura continued to look at Ian as if she had not heard him say, "The first attack came from behind."

Ian "And next cuts?" he asked.

"Exact target" Laura continued "The next 3 strokes hit the heart, liver, and lungs again"

Ian did not take his eyes off the wounds. The room was getting colder and colder. "Any trace of a contract or something"

"No" Laura answered Ian's question as soon as he asked. "There was no evidence of resistance or self-defense. The killer first cut the vein so that Victor could not resist. Maybe I can't shout for help and say it "

Ian shook his head. "The clinic is located close to the residential area. If there was a shout, someone would hear. Nobody heard anything "

Laura put the scalpel in the iron bowl and took out the guard from his mouth.

Ian looked carefully at the part where the throat was cut "First the vein is cut"

Laura nodded in agreement.

"Then the other vital organs are targeted with precision." Ian looked intently at the incision in his heart.

"Yes" Laura answered "But I called you here for something else"

Ian stood up and looked at Laura with suspicion. Everyone in the room listened intently, and no one dared to interrupt. She took off the white hat on her chestnut hair and put it on her shoulder. "Paul Abrams's handprint was registered at the central base. He got involved in a fight at the club a few years ago and his fingerprints were taken. We compared that fingerprint with the fingerprint we found now. The handprint on Victor Atkinson's clothes does not belong to Paul"
