As I said, it's a double update. Happy reading!

"You did what?" From Reminisce.

"So you just randomly let Khalifa go and speak to his ex girlfriend, who's coincidentally an ex criminal." From Kaiden - though that sentence had sounded more of a statement than a question.

Savannah, Josiah, Reminisce and Kaiden were in this room at the moment:

Which was an unlocked bedroom opposite where people had stayed inside before the induction was about to start.

The induction had already started actually, but they needed to sort Khalifa out before anything.

They felt dreadful just going into an empty yet unlocked bedroom like that, but the four of them had nowhere else to talk privately about this whole thing.

As Kaiden and Josiah were sitting on the bed, Reminisce was chilling near the radiator and Savannah was sitting down on the bed opposite them.

They couldn't have stopped talking above her, not raising their voice once.

How could you do that Savannah?

What's wrong with you?

You realise who Stefani is right?

You could have at least said something, not just let him go there...

Something along those lines.

Either way, they weren't very happy with her, and Savannah honestly didn't blame them. She wasn't very happy with herself either.

When Savannah had had enough of them talking above her whilst somewhat roasting her at the same time, she had told them to quieten down kindly.

"I... I didn't mean to do so. It just happened."

"You letting Khalifa go with his ex criminal girlfriend just 'happened'?" Josiah had repeated, frowning. "Look, Savannah, I understand you didn't want to cause a scene, but you do realise that you've made a huge mistake right now, right?"

She sighed, nodding shamefully.

This was her problem, she was by far too nice sometimes.

Not to the point of letting people walk all over her or maybe even being a people pleaser. Of course not.

Just to the point where she had avoided causing a scene with people, even if they were doing something entirely wrong.

Luckily, none of them had raised their temper on her, but Reminisce did want to know how all of this had happened.

It had happened when all of them had gone to the thrift shop, or were on their way there at least, before the Jahking incident had happened though.
