Above is a picture of Thea

My name is Thea Hale, I'm 17, about 5'6" with long brown wavy hair. I have ice blue eyes and tan skin. I'm a junior in high school and captain of the track and lacrosse team. I'm just your average girl, except for the fact that I'm a werewolf. I'm part of one of the biggest packs in the world, and I'm the daughter of the alpha. Oh, and I have a white wolf. In the werewolf community this is extremely rare, so for about 5 years my father hid me away in order to protect me. Once he realized that I could protect myself, he let me live a somewhat normal life. I train hard, every day, and I work on my tracking and security skills. I always have to be aware of my surroundings and know what to do in every situation. Other than that I live a normal life.

Since I'm now 17, I can officially start to look for my mate. I've been able to find him since I was 14 considering my early shift. But you guys already know this. So this Friday night my father is throwing me a birthday party and is inviting all of the alphas that we aren't enemies with to see if I will find my mate. I'm so anxious and nervous for the party and the possibility of finding my mate. I get like a hurricane of nervous butterflies in my stomach whenever I think about it.

*Thursday Morning*

"Thea!" I hear someone call my name but I'm too busy to look up from my phone to see who it is.

"THEA!" I yelp in surprise and cover my ears from the pain that is coursing through them right now. Being a werewolf, I have enhanced hearing, and being a white wolf my senses are even stronger.

"Ow! What the hell was that for?" I angrily yell at the culprit. I turn around to see my crazily grinning best friend Mia jumping in excitement.

"I'm sorry, but you didn't respond the first time I called you and I'm just so excited about tomorrow that I wanted to talk about our outfits for tonight." She talks so fast that I can barely understand what she's saying.

"Ok, Mia, you need to calm down. It looks as if you had about 5 cups of espresso this morning. And about our outfits..." I trail off running my hand through my hair nervously. "I don't have an outfit yet..." I mumble out so that she can't hear or understand me.

Mia stands there with her hands on her hips glaring at me. "Even if you try to mumble out your words, I already know the topic and the fact that you standing there nervous means that you don't have an outfit yet." I direct my eyes to the ground and smile sheepishly at my friend.

"Thea! Its YOUR party, and you don't even have your outfit yet?! What's wrong with you?" She emphasizes the word your to get her point across.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry. Look I've been really busy with training and school lately that I haven't really had time. With the hope of finding my mate tomorrow, my father has been training me hardcore non-stop for weeks. He wants to make sure that I can take care of myself, and he's definitely making sure of that." I say slightly annoyed. I'm not annoyed with Mia, I'm annoyed with my father's excessive training that he's been having me do. He's been making me wake up at 3 in the morning to run 10 miles and work on some boxing and dodging. Then after school it's another 5 miles and tracking in both my human and wolf form, attacking, defense, and awareness until 8. Barely leaving me time to do my homework and eat dinner before I shower and pass out. It's been so tiring and so much work that even my wolf complains about it. She NEVER complains about training.

"Your dad needs to tone it back with all the training that he's putting you through. You're gonna be too tired to even attend your party tomorrow." She states, wrapping her arm around my shoulder as we walk into the school.
