Chloe’s POV

“Fuckface!” I yelled down trying to get the attention of my brother.

After I didn’t hear his door open I sighed and walked down the stairs and opened his bedroom door to see that he was lying on his bed with the music turned up.

“We’re leaving,” I said before walking back upstairs after grabbing my bag that I take with me everywhere.

When everyone was in the kitchen we grabbed our stuff and went outside to get into the car. On the way there I played my music while the boys in the back tried to out play my music with theirs. Let’s just say that it didn’t work out for them.

A few minutes later we were at my grandma’s house. The three of us got out and started walking towards to front door. My mom pulled out of the driveway and started back down the road.

I walked in the door and heard my cousin running around. She showed up at the front door a few seconds later.

“Hey Alyssa,” I smiled down at her. She’s like ten and she’s prettier than I am. It’s not fair.

“Hey Chloe,” she said to me before she ran off to the kitchen where I followed her and found my grandma stirring meat in a pan.

“Hey Grandma,” I smiled going up and hugging her.

“Hello Chloe. How has your day been?” she asked turning her attention back to the meat she was browning for tacos.

“It was surprisingly good so far. But I did get almost 11 hours of sleep last night so that might have something to do with it.” I laughed a little.

“Well that’s good,” she said to me before I got up and walked into my grandma’s room where my cousin was lying down on the bed. I sat beside him and that moved him a little and he didn’t like that very much.

“Sorry,” I said laughing a little. “I just wanted to say hi.” I got up to walk back to the living room when he stopped me.

“Wait, stay in here and keep me company.” He said lowly.

I sat on the bed beside him as we talked and watched TV.

~An hour and a half later~

My aunt, my uncle, and three of my cousins were at my grandma’s along with my great grandparents. We had some tacos and before we started eating cake my grandma went to check on Craig.

My grandma ended up having to leave to take Craig home. So the rest of us cleaned up and started leaving after we ate some cake. My cousin that I am closest to, Dee, took us back to our house. There’s about a five year difference between us but I’m basically her mini me.

I was pretty pissed that it was a Friday night and it was my birthday yet I had nothing to do. I told her that too.

“Well I would say come with me but your mom would kill me because of the stuff we do. Plus I’m like one of two girls.” This was her response.

“It’s not like friends would be any better to be around,” I laughed a little knowing how true it is. “Besides what my mom doesn’t know won’t hurt her.”

“Very true,” she said laughing at me.

When we pulled into my driveway the boys got out right away and I stayed back to talk to her and thank her for the poster she got me. I soon got out of her car and walked in the door.

That night I lied in bed thinking about my life. Let’s just say that I woke up the next morning and I could tell I had cried myself to sleep…

A/N it’s really short but its okay for me anyway. Please ignore the grammar errors. I will probably go back and edit when I have the chance to.
