K<"yeah, the doctors said that I'm all good and no damage was done to the babies or to the placenta"

E<"that's good,(she sighed, curling her legs under her as she took a seat on the couch),I still can't believe he just showed up and hurt you like that...I am so sorry"

K<"Erin, what happened with Kelly is not your fault. He's an asshole"

E<"I just feel like if I didn't go into work that day like Jay told me to, then he wouldn't have shown up, nor would you have been there"

K<"Erin,(she sat forward, resting her hand on her knee),stop it. I don't want to hear that anymore, okay,(She pressed her lips together and nodded, looking down and picking at the blanket as the front door opened to Jays apartment, the boys walking in with bags in their hands),you two buy the whole store"?(she joked, pushing herself up off the couch and walking into the kitchen)

J<"no, but we did buy the rest of the strawberries that were on the shelves"

E<"did you check if they were ripe enough if they were the last ones"?(she asked, pushing herself up as well and grabbing a bag, putting some groceries away it their resonated area)

A<"yes Erin, we checked"(he teased)

(She looked at them and grinned while she rolled her eyes, grabbing an apple from the fridge and washing it off before she rested against it and bit into it, listening to the guys's conversation)

K<"so guys, I was talking to Erin about that new bar that just opened up around the corner from your guys's complex and was encouraging her to apply"!

(Jay raised his brows and looked at her)

J<"Is that something you want"?

E<"I-I don't know,(she walked to the counter and leaned on it),I was thinking of calling your brother to discuss what he would recommend me to study for medical school"

A<"woah"

K<"wait actually"

(Jay looked at her in surprise, not liking how he just found out that she would like to possibly pursue a career in the medical field)

E<"I mean...yeah,(she laughed),I love helping and I've always strived to service people, the community. I just think I bloomed a little too late"

A<"No, don't say that! Whatever you put your mind to, we all know full well you'd be great in which ever is your calling"

E<"Thanks Adam"(she gave him a smile)

A<"not a problem. Tell you what, I'll call some of my buddies who teach college courses for medical degrees and we can see what your interested in"

E<"really?(she asked, watching him nod),yeah, that'd be great"!

K<"you should apply for the police academy"

J<"absolutely not"!

(Erin turned her head and furrowed her brows, wondering why he was so against the idea)

E<"Why"?

J<"it's to dangerous"

K<"I'm in it...pregnant may I add"

J<"I just don't want you to put yourself in a position of danger, that's all"

E<"Jay I love you, but whether I did or didn't want to try it...that's my call to make"

J<"I understand that, but I don't want to lose you Babe"

E<"You wo.."

A<"Alright, Hey,, let's push the career topic off the table for a bit and you guys can discuss that on your own time...anyhow, have we figured out the center pieces for the wedding"?
