"Lunaaaa", she hears her sister, Vic shout from downstairs. She quickly closes her diary and places it in her suitcase. Vic has been begging her to come with her this summer, to the måneskin house. She doesn't really want to go, but it would seem weird if she wouldn't, right?

"Are you ready?", Vic asks leaning while leaning on the doorframe, "Yeah, all ready", she says while closing the zipper of her suitcase. She has a pretty big suitcase since she will be staying for the whole summer vacation, there are mostly simple, comfy outfits and other essentials in it.

"I don't get how you can live all alone, don't you get lonely?", Vic asks while lifting the suitcase,"

"No, I like the silence", she answers, all lies. She's been feeling more alone than ever, but no one would care anyways right. She must have done something to deserve to feel this alone, at least it's better than the feeling she had when she was with people who didn't care about her. It made her feel worthless, and even more alone than if she would have company. No, she is destined for loneliness, and she mustn't try to find people again. People were only trouble after all...

Vic nods and looks around, "Let's go then", she nods and takes her bag with her. While walking down the staircase she makes sure she has everything with her, just in case she forgot something. Vic is already far in front of her and has already put her suitcase in the car, she closes the apartment door and gets into the front seat.

While Vic is starting the car she takes one last glance at her apartment, her only safe space...

"Aren't you hot in long jeans? I have some spare shorts in the back if you want?", Vic offers but she declines, "I'm not that hot, I'll be fine but thanks", she says and smiles, not a real smile of course because those have faded away some time ago...

Only if her sister knew why, why she never wore any shorts. If only she knew, but she can't. It would break her heart and Luna couldn't afford such a thing happening to her sister, never. Even if it would cost her her soul, she would sell it. No one should ever be this broken, she thinks, unless herself of course. She deserved it after all.

𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫...

"Luna, wake up",  Vic says while shaking her a bit, she wakes up almost immediately, not really having been asleep at all. She looks around and notices that they stopped at a small gas station, they probably need to fill up the gas.

"We need to eat something, it's 7 pm", Vic says while unbuckling, Luna just looks at her thinking about what excuse she's going to use this time. "I'm, not hungry Vic, how long till we get there?", she asks trying to change the subject. Vic isn't having any of it, "You need to eat something, it looks like you lost some weight. Not that I mind as long as you eat of course, so I'll get you a sandwich", Vic says while getting out of the car.

She sighs, she thought she had hidden her weight loss pretty good, by wearing oversized clothes, but of course, Vic noticed...

After some minutes of staring out of the window, watching cars pass by Vic returns. "Here you go, I know you like porchetta sandwich so I got you that and just water", Vic says while putting it on your lap. "Thanks, Vic", she says while smiling.

"We still need to drive half an hour, so if we want to be there before sunset we'll have to leave now", she nods and looks back at the sandwich on her lap. Normally she would've been happy to eat it but now she only hears the voices in her head. The voices tell her not to do it, she doesn't deserve to eat. While Vic is already eating her sandwich she is yet to open it, she will have to eat if she doesn't want to get questioned the whole time. So she does it, she eats.

After some bites her stomach feels heavy, that's when the guilt comes...

"Cazzo!", Vic yells while stepping on the break, she looks out of the window. Some guy in a car tried to get in front of their car. He sticks out his middle finger, Vic can only laugh.

"Bacha ma culo!", Vic says while sticking out her middle finger as well. Luna starts smiling a bit too, only for a second. Seeing her sister this carefree means the world to her, as long as her family is happy.

"What an ass, no one can get in front of Marlena like that", Vic says, of course, Marlena. The well-known name of måneskin, their muse. Vic named her car after her, it suits the car strangely well.

After some more minutes of talking and listening to music, they finally reached their destination. The house looks huge to Luna, she has been here one time before, the first time they rented it, although that was years ago.

She doesn't know what to think of staying in the house with the band for the summer, she would rather stay in bed at home all day. Not having to talk to anyone, no one who checks on her. What do the others even think of her, did they ever like her?

"What do you think?", Vic asks with excitement, "It's nice, big as well", she answers, and Vic nods, "It is big, but we needed the space for the studio", she explains and Luna nods.

They get out of the car and Vic gets out their luggage, "Vic I'll carry it this time. You already carried mine", Luna says but before she can take it it's already picked up, "No need to Cora, I'll carry it".

She looks up and sees brown eyes staring back at her,

Damiano.
