Colored With a Kiss (Jikook)

Part 9

Jungkook's POV:

I looked around for Jimin when I first got to our usual spot, but didn't see anyone. I got into my pack to get out supplies and when I looked up Jimin was sitting next to me.

Jungkook: How do you do that?  You get here right after me?  You're not following me, are you?

Thinking to myself, "I don't need another stalker."

Jimin: No. I was already here.

Jungkook: Oh. Well I'm happy to see you.

Jimin: Really?  I mean, me too.

He smiled at me and I felt my cheeks getting a bit pink.

Jimin: Are you blushing?

Jungkook: No.

Jimin: You're so cute.

I could feel my cheeks heating up even more. I tried to ignore it and got out my camera to take pictures of the flowers.

Jungkook: Would you look at that? All of these new flowers are purple.

Jimin: Do you like them? I ordered them special for you.

I laughed and took some more photos. I then turned and snapped a photo of Jimin. He looked so good, I just had to capture the moment. But when I did, he looked at me questioningly.

Jungkook: You just look really good in this light. I thought I'd capture the moment.

Jimin: Can I see?

I scooted closer to him and looked at the image.

Jimin: That's me? I look pretty cute.

We both laughed.

Jimin: What other colors would you like to see?

Jungkook: Hmm? The flowers? Something bright to offset against the purples would be nice. Do you think you could order up some orange ones for me?

Jimin: I'll see what I can do (winking).

Jungkook: So the last two times we talked, I told you all about me. Tell me about yourself. Where are you from, Jimin?

Jimin: I'm from here.

Jungkook: Oh. So you probably have a lot of friends and family here.

Jimin: I do have a good group of friends. I live with my best friend.

Jungkook: Your co-worker / best friend? That must be fun.

Jimin: Yes, it's great. But he has a boyfriend, so sometimes it's lonely.

Jungkook: You don't have a boyfriend ... or girlfriend.

Jimin: No. I had one for a little while, but we're just friends now.

We continued talking while he painted. We mainly talked about things we like and dislike. Sometimes we sat in silence while he watched me.

Jungkook: Why do you like watching me paint?

Jimin: It's fascinating. I could watch you all day.

I blushed again. He was so dang cute.

Jungkook: What's your favorite color? I'll make a painting for you.

Jimin: I'd like that, but just make it a small painting.

Jungkook: You don't have room for a large one.

Jimin: Exactly. My favorite color is green, by the way. But I love all the colors.

Jungkook: Dark green, like the shirt you're wearing?

Jimin: I like all shade of green.

It was getting late again so I packed up my things.

Jungkook: Same place, tomorrow?

Jimin: Looking forward to it.

Jungkook: Do you want to walk out front with me?

Jimin: I'm staying put for now. I'll see you tomorrow, Kookie.

Jungkook: Kookie? Cute. I'll have to come up with a nickname for you too.

Jimin's POV:

As soon as Jungkook left, I returned to my small size. Yoongi and Tae blinked to in front of me.

Jimin: So what did you think.

Taehyung: He seems maybe okay.

Yoongi: Who knows. You mainly just stared at him.

Jimin: I wasn't staring, I was watching him paint.

Yoongi: Same difference.  It's obvious that you like him.

Jimin: Well yeah, he's nice.

Taehyung: He means you like him.

Jimin: I just want to get to know him better.

Yoongi: Uh huh. If you say so.

Taehyung: At least he seems normal.

All of a sudden, Hobi appeared in front of us.

Hoseok: He seems normal, but what's with the other guy?

Jimin: What other guy?

We all looked at Hobi puzzled.

Hoseok: That other guy that was watching you two from over there.

Unknown person's POV:

There's something strange about the new guy. I mean, obviously I don't like him hitting on my man. But why is it that he seems to appear all of a sudden. And then he disappears too. I was watching more closely this time and I swear as soon as Jungkook left, he just disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Regardless of the strangeness, I don't like him. He's moving in on my boyfriend. It's clear that Jungkook is attracted to him. I'm going to figure out where this new guy lives and give him a piece of my mind.
