At Ever After (ever after high fanfic)

Beginning

The girl the youngest the third had just gotten her gifts "I give you your gifts my dear," A fairy plucked a kiss on the new borns forehead "the gift of magic, the gift of beauty and the gift of exceptional mastery in weapons." The fairy said then flew out the window leaving the infant sparkling as the gifts set in

Present Day....

"Happy Birthday Maya! Seventeen and finally got your acceptance letter to ever after high! We can be roomies!"Lena shouted hugging her friend hard "Ah yes the year of the royal, rebel feud getting more out of hand." Natalie (I decided on this name for the female narrator the males is Vince.) "Barely a minute in and already you've interrupted." Vince said opening his mouth as if to say more but his gaze fell on Maya now opening presents. "A mirror-phone how hex-allent! Give me your number Lena!" Maya said hugging her friend. "A bit odd though and against school policies to accept a student after legacy day." Natalie said "Natalie, her story is mainly getting born and getting magic gifts all that's left in her tale is marriage." Vince said contradicting his wife as Maya unwrapped a dress, a new sword, a tiny glass vile to put potions in, and started unwrapping her final present but stopped quietly under her breath she whispered "Hey Natalie and whatever your name is quit bickering your so loud." Maya whispered before gasping "What is it??? Is it candy or more cake! Or fire!" Lena squealed in a style remarkably like her dad Olafs "It's a compact." Maya turned it over gently and ran her finger over the delicate looking butterfly wing pattern. It's beautiful," She said clicking it open and a note fell out "Huh what's this?" She read it over and her already pale face paled more "Are you ok? Umm hello?" Lena waved her hand in front of the girls face "No......... way........." Maya seemed to be in a trance as she talked "Did we mess with her head or something. Only people I've heard of that can her us are crazy people." Vince said but looked slightly guilty some thing Natalie noticed quite quickly but ignored the look on his face. a/n pft when she finds out what I did I'm dead meat. "Your father oh thats so worth melting for." Lena said hugging her friend "YHE IF HE BOTHERED TO SHOW UP MY ENTIRE LIFE! HE SENDS ME A PRESENT ONCE! MOM TOLD ME HE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT ME! MY SISTERS FATHER DIED I ALWAYS IMAGINED HIM AS MY FATHER THIS SENDS IT CRASHING DOWN!" Calming down she whispered "this is such a fairy fail." Surprised at her out burst Lena put a arm around her now sobbing friend "Do you need a warm hug?" Lena hugged her as she said that "I'm sorry for yelling it....... it's just hard to let it go a/n pun intended my entire past." Maya said be for breaking down into tears.

A few weeks later at a Maddie thrown tea party

"To the newest student who is completely wonderlanderful in every way. Right Earl Grey?" Maddie said "A tea party with that girl do they know what there getting into." Vince said staring at Maya his obsession with the girl was starting to worry Natalie he spent most of his time starting at her "It is nice how she made friends with Brook," Natalie said trying to make conversation with her husband "and convinced Maddie to invite her our daughter needs more friends." Natalie gave up and fell silent "BROOK'S YOUR DAUGHTER??????!!!!!!" Three voices broke in before Vince could say anything the voices belonged to Maddie, Kitty, and Maya while Raven, Cerise, Lena, Bunny, Alistar and Zach stared at them like they had a screw lose and Brook blushed her cheeks colouring and nearly dropped her tea cup "Nice going..... mom." Brook said blushing more feverish "Hat-tastic I didn't know you two were married." Maddie said "And there goes some of her normalness." Raven rolled her eyes watching as the girl pulled out the compact "Thought you said you wouldn't use it. Have you forgiven your father." Lena said "Hardley I just need a mirror." Maya said "I....... I have to go." Brook ran away as she talked "Brook wait," Maya reacting first chased her to the school "Brook please stop, Brook please." With a burst of speed Maya caught up with the girl and held her arm stopping her in her tracks. "Can you please let me go I have to go. I really have to go. please let me go." Brook was fighting against the girls grasp but she held firm "Uh no now come back to the party. Everything will be ok it's something that will help," hugging her Maya said "I think she just forgot you weren't the only one who could hear her. And think about it your father's probably chewing her out or something." "Ok I'll come," Brook allowed Maya to drag her back "since we're practically there already. Come on!" Pulling Maya the last little bit they ran back to the tea party "Yay your alive! Hey Brook do you need a hug?" Lena jump hugged Maya and started to hug Brook who pulled away quickly "Lena, I think your scarring her. "Natalie-" Vince started but a voices cut him off "Hello yea heartfelt moment in progress here." Maddie said "mind being quiet."

Later at night while everyone is sleeping

"Wow, so a year of keeping this secret and I'm not the one who messed everything up." Vince said but stopped before he saw his wife break down crying at his words a/n wow these two do little to no narrating. "Um....... sorry?" Vince put his arm around her and felt his shirt become wet with her tears. "It's......." Was all Natalie could get out before she started crying again "Goodnight, my love." Vince held he close and kissed her gently his black hair tickling her forehead as she kissed him back

The Next day

"Hey, it snowed," Lena was trying to wake her friend up but noticed the snow "do you want to build a snow man. " Lena pulled on her usually outfit of a white I like warm hugs t-shirt and a Jean skirt "No I don't," Maya sat up and started pulling on her legging and purple skirt with a black top and putting on her brown belt "what the hex happened. Lena what did you do to my hair!" Maya was nearly screamed when she saw her hair in the mirror where she was combing her hair. A black streak had appered in her hair right along the top of her hair falling down to her back perfectly intertwined with her brown hair "Ohhhhhh pretty." Lena reached out and grabbed for her hair "NOT PRETTY WHAT HAPPENED!" Maya screamed "Um we can ask, erm Madam Yaga or someone who knows magic. I know Grimm." Lena said trying to calm her friend down. "I would go with the later if I were you." Vince suggested he was tired from trying to convince Natalie to even move from there couch where there conversation had happened the previous night she had fallen asleep and had still not woken up. Vince looked at her and saw her honey brown hair falling across her tan brown face her dark brown eyes closed. She eas still in the simple pale blue shirt and blue jeans."Thanks................ Vince was it?" Maya said forgetting Lena was there "Hey, Maya your talking crazy." Raven said walking in yawning "Maddie's happy said something like finally a nonwonderlander who wont think I'm crazy when I talk to them." "What do you want if nothing get out of my room." Maya snapped "Grimm wanted to see us," Apple poked her head in "in the castleteria." "Is everyone and there fairygodmother hear? Get. Out. Of. My. Room. Not you Lena." Maya said walking out of the room and sauntering to castleteria looking for Grimm and ended up running into Giles who like Vince had said was who would help her the most. "Where's the fire?" Miles younger brother reached down to help the girl up "Sorry, co-headmaster. Um I was just looking for Madam Yaga," here Maya stopped as Raven turned the corner to the castleteria and the Maya told him everything that had happened. "Hmm may I see the streak?" Giles said when the young girl nodded he turned her around and studied the streak "it's definitely natural, but magic caused its appearance." Giles said "I'm sorry but I can't remove it without risking the loss of all your hair." "All students report to the castleteria immediately." Grimm voice came over a loud speaker "Maya, can you come with me I don't want to go alone," Brook said turning around the corner "cool hair same color as mine when did you dye it?" Brook flipped her black braid over her shoulder "Not intentional. It just appeared like this." Maya said "Once again ALL students report to the castleteria." Grimm voice came over the speaker again "Come on let's go." Brook dragged Maya by her wrist to the castleteria

After a long winded royal/rebel argument
