"Aleena!" I yelled chasing my best friend. She just stole my phone and was reading my online boyfriend's messages to me.

"Wait." She said stopping. I stopped myself almost running into her.

"What?" I asked looking over her shoulder and grabbing my phone.

"That's Kyle. My boyfriend." She gulped.

"Wait, so he's dating both of us?" I said mad. I almost dropped my phone of shock. How could someone do this?

"Yeah... What an ass." She said sad but trying to hide her anger.

"I'll tell him to stop messaging us, and stop being a player." I shook my head and began messaging the creep.

K: hi babe.

M: ew, ur dating my best friend too. Fuck u.

K: what? Who?

M: Aleena.

K: oh... Yea sorry.

M: FUCK U.

I'm usually so sweet, but he's playing my best friend and I. It hurt at first. But, he was nothing. I honestly didn't have feelings for him. Everyday he'd ask for nudes. I wouldn't send them. I have respect for myself.

"I just blocked him." I said smiling.

"Same." Aleena said.

Aleena and I have been friends since we were 8 and 9. We've been together since. Yeah, we've fought. That's what best friends do. But, we always fix it. No matter what.

We just moved in with her aunt in California. It's Sunday, and we start school tomorrow. I'm nervous. Every school I've gone to people hate me.

"It's going to be okay." Aleena said grabbing my hand. She's always been popular. She's mostly known for her beauty. I'm known for my hideousness.

"Yeah, I know." I lied. It's never okay. Never.

*next day*

We walked into the school smiling. Well, a fake smile and probably a real one. Everyone looked so different compared to the last school. They looked happy, and nice. Nobody was crying, or in a massive fight. Maybe it was going to be okay.

A girl with pretty brown hair accidentally bumped into Aleena.

"Oh, I'm so sorry." She said to Aleena.

"It's fine. I'm Aleena and this is Maggie." Aleena smiled shaking her hand.

"I'm Lily. Are you two new?" She asked.

"Yes." I said. Aleena looked at me surprised. I rarely ever talk. I only talk to her, and her aunt. I'm close with them.

"Oh. Cool. What's your first class?" She asked.

"I have PE, and Aleena has Science." I said scratching my arm.

"Science is actually right there. I'll take Maggie to the Gym." She smiled.

"Okay." Aleena said hugging me.

"Good luck." Aleena said walking into the classroom.

Lily lead me to a large Gym filled with boys playing basketball in a gym uniform.

"Mrs. Dean is right there. She'll help you. Bye." Lily said in a rush.

I walked in gripping my binders nervously.

"Um. I'm new." I said shyly.

"Oh, you must be Maggie." She smiled. She handed me shorts and a shirt that said, LA Koalas.

"Get dressed in the locker. Choose any locker. Don't loose this key." She said handing me a key with a shoe string tide around it. I nodded and walked into the dressing room.

I saw beautiful girls all looking in the mirror doing their makeup.

"Who are you?" A blonde girl asked me.

"I'm Maggie." I said reaching my hand out to shake hers.

She didn't shake mine. It was embarrassing.

"Hmm. I'm Kelsey." She smiled and walked away. That was weird.

I walked to the very back in a corner. There was only one girl there but, she seemed as cautioned as me for getting dressed in front of girls.

"I'm Kaytlin." She smiled.

I shook her hand and smiled back.

"I'm Maggie." I said taking my shirt off exposing my bra.

"So you're new? I'll tell you a few things, stay away from Kelsey and her 'bubble gum, barbies.' Also stay away from the boys. They're cute but, they'll crush your heart." She giggled.

"Boys? Ew." I joked.

She laughed along. I was being different today. I should be having a panic attack, but no. I'm happy... Weird.

Kaytlin had short blonde hair. She had her eyebrow pierced and a lot of eye liner, but it worked on her...
