Thousands of people surrounded the castle, a dark shadow looming over their faces full of fear and anger. All were anxiously awaiting the speech of the new emperor. After a year of internal turmoil, the country of Bellaciao had fallen to the communist revolutionary known by the name 'Chess Master'. The walls surrounding the castle caused the concerned yelling of the citizens to echo throughout the courtyard, encouraging babies and young children to cry in distress. The guards occasionally had to push back angry men who were attempting to beat the castle walls in fury. Every so often, young women would glance up at the castle balcony, impatiently waiting for the emperor. The tangle of voices began to die down as the sound of iron chains mechanically moving could be heard from the door connected to the balcony. The people fell silent as the grand, jewel decorated iron door started to open in sync with the grinding of the chains.
Once it was fully opened, a small feminine figure stepped through the door, into the open balcony. Her fluffy white ears twitched in annoyance at the confused mutterings from the crowd below. She timidly approached the end of the balcony and gripped the railing, her claw-like nails scratching against the marble. "Please be silent!" she yelled as loud as she physically could, which, unfortunately for her, ended up as an irritating high pitched squeak. The poor girl's audience started laughing and yelling in anger. How dare the emperor send out one of his maids in his presence?! The cat girl's ears bowed down in embarrassment, as did her head. As if empowered by the crowd's anger, a gust of wind swept up the skirt of her pink, frilled dress, exposing her undergarments. She quickly held down her dress and ran back into the castle in pure discomfort, tears rolling down her red cheeks. At this, the people roared in laughter.
A few minutes later, after the ruthless spectators had calmed down once more, a tall fit man emerged from the doorway. His dark hair covered the deep scowl that enveloped his visage. However, he kept his cool as he sauntered towards where the girl had once stood. "Silence!" he commanded. Instantly, the commoners' voices were no more. The man continued, "I am sure the majority of you are aware that I am your new emperor. You may refer to me as 'Lord Chess'. From here on, it is forbidden to refer to me as anything else, unless you are someone who I have given the blessing to call me otherwise, such as my trusted aide who you have just... met." Lord Chess furrowed his brows at the commoners shaking below him, casting fearful glances at each other. "If circumstances were different, all of you men would have been killed by now. However, I will be merciful just this once since you pigs are not acquainted with my rule."
A daring voice yelled out to the emperor, "As if you would dare to kill us over laughter!" The emperor sighed and shook his head.
"Neko-chan!" he called out, moving his head to the side. The cat girl who had embarrassed herself only just a few moments ago ran through the doorway, past the emperor, and leaped over the balcony railing, unsheathing her long sword. She gracefully landed right in front of the defiant pig, and in one swift movement, severed his neck from his torso. The crowd gasped, but no other sound was made out of fear of death. Mother's silenced their young ones and held their hands over their childrens' mouths. Neko-chan turned back towards Lord Chess and looked up at him expectantly. "Thank you. Now come back up here with me" he called down to her. The mass in front of her moved to the side, creating a large gap in the crowd for her to walk through. Before obeying the command, she turned back towards the dead man and spit on his severed head.
"Blyat'" she scoffed. Sheathing her sword, she promenaded through the gap made for her, the people around her gaping in terror. As she walked up the stairs connected to the balcony, it was obvious that she had changed her attire in the few minutes she was inside the castle. Neko-chan now wore a white tennis skirt with a pink tight fitting anime styled shirt that showed off her breasts. Each step that she took seemed to stretch her thigh highs, barely able to cover her muscular calves and thick thighs. She felt the hot stares of the men watching her, but paid no mind. If they were so unfortunate, they may have a better look when their time came. The killing gave her a rush of confidence which she has previously lost. Neko-chan wasn't a great public speaker, but her *special* skills made up for it. She giggled to herself, thinking about the fun to come during Lord Chess' rule.
The shining cat girl had finally reached the top of the stairs and purred her way next to her emperor. Lord Chess patted her head. "Good girl," he whispered so that only she could hear him. He turned his attention back to his subjects and raised his voice, "Now that you are aware of what happens to my subjects who defy me, my rule, or my aide, I expect this sort of trouble making to forever cease. My aide is an expert in the martial arts, trained by her Russian piano teacher since she was 5. She will not hesitate to kill if she deems it necessary." The emperor glanced down at his loyal aide who was looking up at him, smiling. He softly grinned back at her, admiring her cuteness. "I will soon be implementing new laws and adjusting old ones to make our country fair for all. Please look out for these changes." He paused for a moment and stared down at his pitiful subjects. "You are dismissed," he commanded. With his conclusion, he turned around and walked back into the castle with his little aide following behind him.
The mechanical doors closed after they had walked inside and Lord Chess turned to his attendant. Leering down at her, he chuckled. "That was quite a show you put on, Neko-chan," he continued to laugh."S-stop! You're embarrassing me!" Neko-chan whimpered, her ears flattening once more. She was heavily blushing and holding her tail for comfort. Lord Chess grew slightly irritated at her response. He stepped towards her, causing her to back up towards the wall. The small cat girl's back hit the wall, startling her. She let out a yelp in surprise and, taking advantage of the situation, Lord Chess used his arms to block her from moving away. "My Lord!" Neko-chan exclaimed, her face beet red.
"You know, you embarrassed me too. You damaged my reputation. How are you going to make that up to me?" the emperor growled.
"I'm so sorry your highness! I'll do anything, what can I do to fix my incompetence?" Lord Chess grabbed her chin, pulling it towards him.
"What did I tell you to call me in private?" His grip tightened in anger.
"But my lord! There are guards around!" she squeaked, grimacing in slight pain.
"They don't matter. If they dare say a word, they know they will be killed."
"Y-yes master. I'm sorry master," Neko-chan gave in, looking down at the richly carpeted floor. The gold patterns of the carpet stood out in the red background, entrancing her thoughts, distracting her from this humiliation. Her master noticed this, and bent down to her ears to whisper.
"It seems that you don't like the guards to see you like this. I'll be easy on you this time, but next time I will put that fear of yours to good use. Now, you will come with me to my chambers."
