EIGHT

The day came. The day where they will attack Bonten came. "A" and the rest of her team got one of their lower ranking members to leak some information regarding Bonten's hideout to Takemichi. The rest of them surrounded the hideout while disguising as normal people who were just walking around, shopping, and more.

"A", specifically, was stationed somewhere near where it would be easiest to assassinate Haruchiyo Sanzu. She was wearing casual clothing with a colourful coat as outerwear. She had light blue hair, grey eyes with the help of contact lenses, and was also wearing tall boots. She looked completely different from the last time Haruchiyo had ever seen her.

Meanwhile with the Bonten executives...

They were quick to notice that there were some certain people who were walking back and forth near their hideout. They thought that it was odd for them to walk around the area for so long, but shrugged it off anyway. Haruchiyo was in a room, sitting down while consuming drugs. He was lost thinking. Thinking of whom the enemy might be.

Then "A" came into his mind...

He truly missed her. Her beautiful face. Her cute personality. The comfort she gave him. He was reminiscing about the good old days. When "A" was still there right by his side. When they were still in school. The dates they went to, the cute moments they had, and just "A"'s presence in general.

That was when his thoughts crossed over Senju. His sister Senju Kawaragi, or Senju Akashi. He felt no remorse nor regret for killing her. He only felt guilty for not telling "A" the truth, that he was actually one of Senju's killers. But he didn't want "A" to hate him so he didn't tell her.

The now grown man suddenly thought of something. In their highschool days, right after Senju died, "A" started to go out alone, went home late, she also had a small personality change; as if she knew that Haruchiyo killed her friend. He then thought of a question, "What if "A" knew what he did?", "What if she went out to find out?".

"Shit.", Haruchiyo thought.

His thoughts continued, "Then if she knew, the enemy might be her. Judging from the fact that "A" had a personality change, she suddenly became good at fighting, I also saw her talking to some enemy gang member once, and she also started to be distant..."

He suddenly had the urge to look out of his window. That was when he saw her. A woman with light blue hair who was wearing a colourful coat. She was staring right back into his eyes. As if she wanted to kill him. She then walked away. "She looked like "A"", he thought.

Haruchiyo then went out of his room, and ran down the stairs to inform his leader, Mikey. But the leader was nowhere to be found.

Until he saw it. Takemichi. He was sitting down on one of the chairs. Surprisingly, Bonten's leader, who was nowhere to be found, suddenly appeared before Haruchiyo and walked to where Takemichi was and sat behind him.

Mikey told Haruchiyo to leave him and Takemichi alone.

The pink haired man then walked away leaving the two old friends together. The two talked. Takemichi got shot. Mikey wanted to end it all, with his own life.

Mikey climbed to the top of the building they were in. Bonten's leader jumped. But Takemichi caught him and they had a small talk before Takemichi lost his strength and dropped Mikey. They died. Both Mikey or Manjiro Sano, and Hanagaki Takemichi lost their lives just like that.

Haruchiyo whom was shocked. Ran back into the alley he originally was in before he ran out and screamed for Mikey before the leader took his own life. He was a mess. The man wasn't focusing, and kept running into the alleyway.

"Checkmate.", was heard from behind him.

He turned his body around, just to see "A" standing in front of him with a gun pointed to his head. Oddly, she was smiling. That was when he realised, his hypothesis from before was correct. He was shocked, and just froze.

The woman then said, "You know, when Senju passed away, I couldn't believe it. So I went to find answers. Turns out you were involved.", she chuckled with a sad expression on her pretty face and continued, "I decided to create a small group to kill off everyone involved. But you and the rest of Bonten survived. So we decided to wait for the right time, and that time is now. Mikey's death was planned and set up, you know?" The female looked at him with serious eyes. Haruchiyo was stunned and couldn't move a single muscle. She then finally said, "Goodbye Haruchiyo, I did love you before. But not anymore, and this is my revenge. Senju was my one and only female friend, and you had to take her away from me."

"Shoot me.", Haruchiyo said.

"My pleasure~"

Finally, three shots were heard.

The female successfully escaped.
